Very solid points Stanpai! I only had a brief influence in changing two song choices in the medley draft to ones that weren't used in the YTPMV scene as much at all, but generally speaking I'm not too much of a fan of reducing Snoop Dogg himself to "haha funny weed man" and the lack of G-Funk tracks didn't make it as diversified as it needed to be. But at the same time- this collab wasn't meant to be as big as the others ones from the start when considering that the hosts were pretty much newcomers to the community. Thank you for providing a clear voice and feedback that were needed to the other guys who were involved as it's all beneficial in that sense.

my thought process when watching this was: - oh, the collab is over - stan’s face was mostly monotone throughout the video - there’s ten minutes left in the video - ohno.mp4 on rewatch, i’d say my biggest problem with this collaboration is that it relies so much on sterile motion graphics that it makes a lot of the parts blend into each other. individually, each of the parts would make for a great youtube video on their own, but it’s much harder to string all the parts together so they form a cohesive narrative while being distinct in their own right. still a fantastic youtube video, but admittedly on the more casual side of ytpmv collaborations

I think song selection is always a big problem in collaborations. You have songs that are familiar in the community, popular, but often used, and then you have songs that you know nothing about at all, and it doesn't evoke any emotion. You just need a balance. For me this collab is like Muscular Wonders. It's not huge, there were no loud announcements, because I found out about it literally the day before the release. We can expect a collab for the next 4/20 maybe...

in term of visual, this is one hella collab, but it is kinda weak for the audio, its not bad but not best either, they actually can do better if they tried. one thing that made this collab not really blown up for myself is the way they used the source, because they're only depend with two song for the source, "next episode (including "smoke weed everyday" and "dadadadada")" and "drop it like its hot", make the medley sounds boring, like you said that a good point of collab is when they can make narrative thing and i think the source management got important role for it, we cant emphasize the feel part if the audio too repetative, i would get goosebump if the chrono trigger part wasnt just a bunch of shift-pitched "smoke weed everyday", but still the part when Dr.Dre got sucked in to the light and shout "snoop doooogggggg" still funny because they imaging him got blasted like some anime scene. and for a comparison to the repetitive source, its like listen to old spice collab but with only "poweeeeeer" source, mcdonald collab but with only "ran ran ruu" source, gachimuchi collab but with only "yugaminena" source, the same case we saw in kitchen gun collab where they only use one commercial for the source, it tend to get boring halfway through the medley, so i hope if they would make another collaboration they would use another source of snoop dogg for the audio part, they could use snoop's other song, or maybe some interview footage, or even his stream clip for the source. for the medley i personally enjoy the song list, they even put a hood classic song like "artificial intelligence bomb" but kinda disappointed they did not put renai circulation since that was the most notable reference for snoop YTPMV, and i agree with your point that, people tend to put standard when they see a reference of something they used to watch, make the standard and expectation goes higher. in the end, this collab is enjoyable but not spectacular

Nice reaction! You made some really good points about this collab. While I do personally enjoy the collab, I do agree that the audio for some parts could be better. And the song selection could be better, too. The visuals were dang good, though. I know that it's not meant to be a big collab, but yeah. It's kind of fun to watch.

Some of the participants *_did_* heavily rely on self-made assets and graphics _(myself included)_ , not really something I would've thought of when the collab started, something such as the fact that YTPMV is about using the source material as much as possible. Great review.
