Hi Den! Glad you discovered Angelina! She is the most versatile vocalist of this era. You said that you enjoyed her lows and I would agree with you. She can go pretty high too as she did when she covered Whitney Houston's "I Have Nothing" or when she covered Adele's "A Million Years Ago"...but, if you really want to be blown away by her lows, listen and react to her cover of Screamin' Jay Hawkins "I Put A Spell On You" when she was just 9! You won't be the same afterwards and will and I mean you will find it hard to believe that a voice like that is coming from a 9yr old on top of the fact that she did the arrangements for her version. So nice to finally see her coming into her own here in North America. She's been quite famous for years in Europe and Asia, but her family has been extremely protective of her childhood, and rightly so, and only allowed a couple of concerts per year during school breaks, and then generally for charity or in the summer, for Norway's national music festival. She has done a couple of extremely prestigious events, such as the Nobel Peace Prize concert, and she provided the vocals at the Alan Walker Is Coming Home concert, but except for KZfaq, she's pretty much flown under the radar when it comes to this side of the world. The family was determined to give her as normal a childhood as possible, given the immense talent she was born with, and they've done a remarkable job of it. Since she appeared on AGT, the subscriber base on her cover channel has tripled, and now almost all of her songs there are pushing upwards - from about 6,000,000 views for the most popular, to around a million for even the lesser known jazz songs that she so loves to do. All I can say is, it's about damn time. If you want to hear more of her, just type her name into the KZfaq search engine.
