“Goodbye” (Released: May 6, 2019) is a song that encapsulates acceptance but also a deep sense of sadness, perfectly portrayed by Park Hyo Shin’s vocal talent. The lyrics talk about knowing that it’s time to let go, but also looking back on the past and reminiscing about good times.
Park Hyo Shin has been performing various works with Jung Jae Il (who co-composed the song with him), revealed the breathing he has been making in the upcoming song, expressing his music. The two focused on bringing music into a landscape with the senses they have built up through film and art activities.
Also, Park Hyo Shin shared his view of the world with the lyricist Kim Eana, saying, “The sunshine at sunset and the sunshine at the time of the sunrise are no different, and the things that go and come are continuing for a long time”.
Leaving is nonetheless sad, but only after accepting it is based on the rich melody of the Hungarian 50-member String Orchestra, and to show off the best sound, Tony Maserati worked on mixing and Greg Calbi did mastering. Both are famous for working with world muic stars such as Beyonce, Jason Mraz, Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga and John Mayer.
Park Hyo Shin released various singles after promotion of his 7th album, now released ‘Goodbye’, the main song of the 8th album, once again as a single cut, suggesting that all of his works are part of the big picture he’s going to draw, and that each and every album is connected.
The music video was created by the famous director Luke Monaghan and is inspired by the unique vocals of Park Hyo Shin. Director Luke Monaghan is a noted director who collaborates with international musicians. He previously worked with music videos such as ‘Too Good at Goodbyes’ and ‘I’m Not the Only One’ by Sam Smith.

초창기 박효신의 창법이 싫어서 별로좋아하던가수가아니었는데 그는 결국 엄청난노력으로 저를자신의팬으로 만들었군요 한사람의 보컬리스트가 완벽하게 성장하는모습이 너무감탄스럽습니다 김나박이 모두좋아하지만 감정,보컬,테크닉 이제 나머지사람들과도 다른경지이군요

이 노래는 말 그대로 "Goodbye"에 대해 노래 한 것이라 느꼈습니다. 박효신님의 음악 전달력, 음색, 진성에서 가성으로 넘어가는 자연스러운 발성적 아름다움, 뮤직비디오의 영상미까지 모두 아름답고 아름다웠습니다 한편의 명작 영화를 보는 듯 한 느낌마저 들었구요 안나님도 그런 모든 걸 다 이해하고 느끼시는 거 같아 기분이 좋습니다. 이것보다 더 많은걸 느꼈지만 그걸 말로 다 표현하기는 쉽지않네요 늘 응원합니다♡

Hi~ Anna! ^^ Your reaction to Park Hyo Shin is always genuine and sweet. Never fails to impress me. I can see you understand his song so well not just feel it, even though you watch without English subs. I’m so happy to know a fan like you, so he will be. When I heard ‘Goodbye’, I fell in love with it immediately and felt tears in my eyes unconsciously. It was not just because I felt sad, but because I was moved by its beautiful n meaningful lyrics & melody, especially his stunning vocal n expression, I got chills several times. Speechless... Since then, I’ve listened to it repeatedly. I can’t listen to other songs. no...just I don’t want to. It is the strongest feeling and emotion I’ve never had since ‘Wild flower’. I love everything about Goodbye MV from the outline to the details as you said. It is an art like a great movie (Even it has an ending credit. I’ve never seen a mv like that). I’d like to talk about it more, but I can’t find any proper words to describe. Thank you so much for sharing this. I really really hope you come to Korea n see him in person in his live concert someday. ^^ A true fan like you deserves this or more!

Thank you so much!) After the reaction i re-watched the MV with subs too. The lyrics weren't hard to understand as the words they choose for this song are very simple but deep, so I did understand almost most of the song. Subs helped to confirm that too ;) I still get chills, it's so beautiful. I agree 100% You're so sweet, your comments always cheer me up, thank you for always watching my reactions of him

Hi~ Anna. Thank YOU for the sweet comments. l'm here again to tell you an important information about Goodbye MV. I found out that a few days ago. Hyo Shin himself is a co-producer & creative director of this MV. And he came up with the idea of 'ending credit'. Honestly, l was so moved by 'the ending credit part' cuz l thought unlike the ending credits of movies, it is not just a list of staff but a true epilogue of this song where the sorrow of parting is sublimated into a serene state of mind like his explanation that 'Goodbye' of this song means letting go or new beginning. What an unique n brilliant idea!😊 See you~🥰

I'm so sorry, my Korean is rather poor to make subtitles for every video, I've done it only once and I had to spend a lot of time to make sure there wasn't any mistakes, because It's really important to me.
