The shadow MV and song have a very special meaning, the shadow represent her fans and each different BoA represent a side of her. The BoA in the room represent the human normal BoA with her weakness and doubts and she is watching the BoA who is dancing and who represent BoA the Artist. The BoA with the uniform and the captain cap represent the worldwide Superstar side of her. The MV show that BoA have weakness and doubts as a artist sometime but her Fans/shadow are always close to her as a shadow and that the fans support her and give her strength so she can be the Superstar that she is.

Yeah, she didn't promote Camo. We only have one epic Mama stage where she performed it. The live stages of Only One are super fun. Especially the duet part with the dancer, for each performance she basically borrowed one main dancer from a SM boy group. I call it 'the Queen and her SM boys' ;) It's always interesting to see how each of them will interpret the dance. The Shadow is probably one of my favorite songs and I love the shoulder dance too. It is even more impactful live. Loved your reaction and I am glad you enjoyed the songs!

Yes!!!! More BoA!!!! "The shadow" is my 2nd fav ssong from her, 1st is "Copy&paste". When "Camo" came out it was the only song I listened for days XD And that flower dress look in The shadow and the red look in Camo are STUNNING!!!!! I'm in the super minority that doesn't like "Only one".....

Yessss i love copy and paste as well!!!! These all sound so amazing in our car lol and yes her voice in camo is one that when you sing along your eyes water for some reason. Ugh. Love.

Watching "The Shadow," as a 13 year old really inspired me to try and learn that finger tutting...never nailed it. Re-watching it as a 21 year old...AND I STILL CAN'T GET THAT FINGER TUTTING DOWN! lol STAN A QUEEN

Fun fact! Only One is actually written by BoA! I believe it was the first song she wrote by herself, she said that she really wanted this song to be the title track so she convinced the CEO somehow to let her use!

She's been writing her own lyrics since about 2002! If I remember correctly, she's written one or two songs that were in her No.1 album. She also wrote Moon and Sunrisd back in 2003/04. There's been a lot sprinkled around, but yeah IDENTITY (2010 Japanese album) was the first one that she wrote like almost half of the lyrics for. It really started to show her personal colors and growth as a person and artist.

You have to do Kiss My Lips! It’s her more mature side and she is stunning in that video! It’s such a chill song and also her first comeback in a dress. ❤️

The Shadow MV represents the Jungian theory of individuation - a process in which person becomes it's truest Self (a whole individual). To do that you need to accept your ''shadow'' and other ''masks'' (archetypes) you have within you. When you discover and accept all parts of you only then can be a complete person. You can see that by just watching the beginning of the MV (she has no tattoo on her back and can't look at the sun) and the end (her tattoo is clearly seen on her back, she accepts her shadow and smiles at the sun): ♥

If you haven't seen them, there was covers done of her songs last year to celebrate her 20th anniversary, baekhyun did one, bol4 did another, red velvet, an orchestra version, and an american band called gallant covered only one, they are so good, I highly recommend.

In Only One, I don’t know about the other dancers but I recognize Mihawk (orange hat) and Shim Jae Won (blonde hair) SM’s legendary choreographers. Mihawk now operates talaga dance studio and still continues to choreograph many Sm performances. While Shim Jae Won is now SM’s performance director in charge of many amazing SM concerts from the choreo to lighting to stage design really everything!! I do know her dancers are hand picked and many have been with her for a while so although I don’t recognize them they are sure to be amazing!
