I never watched spongebob as a kid (wasn't allowed to) but as an avid metalhead this song is such a banger, from what I understand Boi What did all the instruments, singing, etc and just had an AI replace their previously sang vocals with Planktons voice hence why it sounds so good

As AI songs go, Boi What is in a different tier. Writing, performing, and singing all of these songs himself instead of just slapping a filter over an existing song is a different level of effort.

My kids (tweens) have fallen into the AI music rabbithole while I've avoided it for the latter. They try to tease me for enjoying Plan Z, but I've explained exactly what you said. Boi What, wrote, performed and recorded all of it themselves before even touching AI. Dude has absolute talent.

Storytime. When i heard that FIRST scream the first time i favorited the video, subbed, and backed out because of one question "How did he do that?". I did research on Boi What and then went back to listen to just a pineapple and then finally listened to plan z in its completion. Boi What is my favorite artist of 2024 and i will be his stan for as long as he makes music. This is The FUTURE and i am here for this age of music.

its so funny that ai technology has gotten so scarily accurate nowadays, like, you can barely tell the difference between voices now its actually crazy. ...but the creators of it are using it to make shitposts, meme songs, and artificial vtubers. we were raised in a generation where instead of wanting to gain power to revolutionize the world and rule with an iron fist, we just want to hear spongebob characters sing metal songs.

I'm not too keen on the rap parts, but it's slowly growing on me. What sells this for me is the chorus and the vocals, especially the screams - I really wanna know what Boi What sounds like without the Plankton filter. For clarity, Boi What did everything here himself and just had an AI dub over his vocals with Plankton's voice. This is an example of the RIGHT way to use AI. Collaboratively within your own creation, NOT as a replacement!

This was really well done and sounds awesome, I wasn't too surprised to hear Plankton do the scream stuff; do to the originals when AI voices were just starting out. There are covers that they have him do like Tool - The Pot, Linkin Park - Given up, System of the Down - Aerials, Nirvana - Smells like Teen Spirit, only to just name a few... Basically Plankton's got that alternative/heavy Rock vocals and it's perfect.
