Ms. Deb60, thank you for reacting to the Carpenters' version of Superstar. I like the other clip you included too. I did not know about Bette Midler dissing Karen Carpenter. Sounds petty. Carpenters were magnanimous to present the award to her. By the way, Luther Vandross' cover of Superstar is really wonderful too.

I love the song of Bette Midler but don't want her because she always teasing my Karen...she did not accepted that Karen over pass her for SUPERSTAR..she was jealous to Karen in many ways.
