Whitney had probably the best female voice of all time but for me Erik gave this song more feelings than I ever heard anyone before performe. It hits the heart like an arrow. This cover will spread and last. Amazing performance

I thought that this being the first song/video that Erik has done since announcing his "retirement" from Skid Row was very symbolic and shows how much that decision hurt. He know it was necessary for his health, but it still stings.

He has been struggled with his health all the time and started to think about leaving Skid Row over a year ago, or as he said, maybe from the beginning he joined “Skid Row”. It was too early for him, after his transplant, to join Skid Row. And he hasn’t said it, but he spoke about why Dolly wrote this song and the we understand it is his friendship-love-song and thanks, for his opportunity to front his beloved Skid Row for a while. And we fans know how much Erik loves all guys in the band and also the crew behind Skid Row. So little history about his choice of cover. Somebody beat me to this request. Have loved it since it was released this Friday. You need to to do the Sabaton song that Erik and Tommy did together, Carolus Rex. It's on Eriks channel. So Tommy and Erik both released a country song this Friday. Tommy doing Texas Hold Em, made famous by Beyonce. We are now waiting for the next collab between our boys.
