Congrats Dave on your relationship with your wife and your baby to come! Such a blessed attitude you have. My broken road led me to my husband years and years ago. It was a blind date. I love you Dave! Thank you for being real! My husband and I have been together for almost 37 yrs! We met after both of us had been down some broken roads! It was meant to be! I tell people that the day I met him was the best blessing from God I have ever had! He truly changed my life for the better and it's been an amazing journey with him! We've had a beautiful life and I'm looking forward to many more beautiful yrs! This song makes me tear up everytime I hear Home Free sing it. The harmonies and arrangement is absolutely phenomenal! I think this performance has become my new favorite. The beauty of their voices just melts my heart and touches my soul! I'm glad you can share what this song means to you. Honest reaction :) This song reminds me of all of my hardships I've faced. I've been homeless, broken relationships, losing my mom and my oldest daughter. Feeling so alone and hitting rock bottom. And I have my youngest daughter and it definitely turned everything around. We still struggle but have each other. This is my song for her.

Congratulations on the baby coming in Dec. What a blessed Christmas gift. HF can really touch your heart and this song is a perfect example. It was actually done by the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band , then Rascal Flats and HF brought it home!! They just are pure, no theatrics, make up, just them and their voices. Gives ya goosebumps.

Loved your story. Don't worry about sharing why a song touches you personally. Music brings us together. This was all so perfect, every bit of it. If I were to pick out just a couple things it would be Adam's heartbeat sound and that double bass drop at the end. Oh, and that silhouette against the sunset.

I love that you share your stories and life events with us! I am so happy you have your sweet family and a baby boy on the way! It sounds like you have your soulmate, which is awesome, and everyone doesn’t find one. I have mine, and we will be celebrating our 29th anniversary late December. This is a second marriage for both of us and I can’t see myself with anyone else. He is my soulmate! Home Free really does know hot to pick songs, and this one is no exception! I didn't recognize the title of this song, but I've heard it too. It brings tears to my eyes on a good day, but when Home Free puts their harmonies into the mix it suddenly became a "two-tissue" day. Like you though, it's "happy tears".

Loved your reaction, Dave! And congratulations on the addition to your family - I knew you already had a son, but you will love having a daughter. I was always a Daddy's girl - it was a very special relationship. And this song is beautiful - I also had heard it before, but this version really touches the heart. I think part of it may be that all 5 of these guys are in committed relationships and they were really singing from the heart.

I am so thankful for the broken road in my life. I knew my hubby was my man the minute I saw him. We met when I was 17, and we got married a few months later. We were married 28 years before he passed away, after having 23 years of that time with him being chronically ill spending so much time in the hospital. My broken road was a guy that I just knew was going to be my forever until my Dan came along.

Great reaction Dave Adam killed it again on the beatboxing making it sound like heartbeats, the double bass at the end from Tim and Chance Rob and Austing killing the lead. We are so fortunate to have these groups to listen to and give a different light to songs. Hi Dave, I love your reaction. And while we are sharing. I met my now husband in 1991 at work, and it took us a few months to start dating and we have been together ever since. When we were together for 25 years we got married. We have said to each other, we’ll grow old and gray together.
