What I loved when Lando said with 2 extra laps I would have won. The thing I thought was…. “If my mam had balls, she would be my dad!”

Max under pressure is when he truly shows why he’s 3x world champion. His entire weekends performance was truly the stuff of legends, pole and the race win, while in the second fastest car. Last race as well even when he lost, he managed to take pole, the sprint win, 2nd main race and finished with more points on the weekend then Lando even with a 2nd. People are going to start to realize how much Max fights for every single point.

I want to say, calling Max inevitable is taking away from his race win today. I'm a Lewis fan, and I was impressed. This was Max fighting off a charging rhino and having to be perfect for 5 laps and he pulled it off. I think Landon would've caught up to him without traffic bad luck, BUT passing him is a different animal. That was amazing and fun to watch! THIS is the type of W I can get behind. He had to drive his a$$ off and that mfer did it too. It's gonna be a fun rest of the season. Charles and Ferrari found something at the end too, because they were not falling behind Lando by much. Annoyed about track limits being a suggestion, but i gotta get over that. It is what it is. This is what F1 is about!

Max won a race in a car with a lot of problems during free practice, barely got a pole position and fought for his life against a crazy strong Norris while avoiding a penalty for track limits for more than half a race. Monster weekend for Max, the Red Bull was not the fastest car at Imola. Easily Driver of the day. And he also won the virtual Nurburgring in the same day. What can he not do?

I keep on saying it; the mental strength of Max (beside his unmatched talent) is out of this world. The bulls do not have the fastest car anymore...

Max's sim racing is definitely beneficial to his real world racing. I'm a Lewis fan but he's wrong that it doesn't help. Red Bull congratulated the sim drivers at the factory for fixing the setup for the real drivers at the track.

Wow what a last 10-15 laps! I saw how lando was catching at about lap 46-53 and I was like hmmmmm I don’t know if max will have what it takes to hold him off. Forgive me Lord for I did not trust in Max and his ability to manage a charging lando in the closing laps of the race. It was similar to Austin 2021

I doubt Max would just let Norris pass. We all know Max would have braked so late he would retain the lead. Norris would need the help of the messiah to pass. 😂😂😂

It wasnt just the penultimate lap. Lando made a couple of mistakes 2-3 laps earlier when he was under 1.5 seconds away. Had he not made those mistakes he could have had 2-3 laps within DRS.

I never missed a race since 1994. I survived all the dominant era's. the most stupid race i can remember is the one in Texas when only a few cars were allowed to start.

First he did a gung ho qualifying, then he won the virtual 24h and on top of that he wins the race on Sunday. He is totally dedicated to the sport and his mental strength must be out of this world. And the RB is not the car it was last year. Checo was way behind. The downside of this is that the constructors Championship is in danger if it keeps on going this way.

You keep complaining about dominance, but that is the rule not the exception. You have to go pre-McLaren early 80s and before where it was lack of reliability that made for the multiple winners. Jim Clark would have won every year and another 10 after his death.

I think Max haters base it on his past and fail to recognize that this guy since the tail end of 2020 flipped a switch and is driving at an extremely high level. He has added maturity and experience to his undeniable talent. It's a shame that we can fail to appreciate talent cos of biases. That was a real bore fest as much as sky F1 tried to big it up. I wasn’t feeling the lack of presence from Crofty and Brundle either. Lando wouldn’t have passed with 2 more laps maybe caught up but unfortunately the straight isn’t long enough and the advantage Lando would have needed to pass cleanly definitely wasn’t there.

I lasted about 30+ laps of this snooze-fest and then fast-forwarded 28-30 laps (I had recorded it) and watched the Lando attack, but sadly he never quite got there, thanks in part to the track which is not one that promotes overtaking a whole lot. So a little bit of uncertainty towards the end but generally a sleeper. Watch lap 1 and watch lap 63, that about sums it up.

Put Lewis in that McLaren and you’ll see how relaxed max would be I said it before the race Lando is happy to be second. Next year we all will see how good he really is when everything is even up not before when we all know the Red Bull still has the advantage when it comes to performance. They only dealing with some minor balance issues and you can immediately see the difference that’s why I always say the car is tuned to the teeth in terms of setup that what makes it unbeatable the balance the straight line speed
