After reading so many comments praising Doh Kyungsoo's performance, I decided to relisten. My video response was how I felt at that moment having never heard this version before. This was a true reaction video. I was fixated on how IU delivers this song, which is perfection itself. Upon hearing Doh Kyungsoo again, I clearly understated the qualiity of his performance. It was excellent, not just OK.

What Kyungsoo did with those notes, lifting and caressing them, and melding his voice with IU’s, giving color and richness to this beautiful song was incredible. ❤

I will have to disagree with you. HE WAS FANTASTIC!!!!!!!! 💯 His voice was amazing during his solo and he adjusted to harmonize with IU’s voice. You’re right he wasn’t great BECAUSE he was better than great. HE WAS AWESOME!!

I think Kyungsoo’s voice is incredible-his tone, range and agility are amazing and then his harmonization with IU, as someone put it the way he “bends” his voice around hers, is just beautiful.

Perhaps you were sleep deprived with your initial reaction and were already pre-determined that you weren’t going to like the cover. Glad you re-listened. Quoting IU and reflecting the composer’s view, Kyungsoo sang this song with passion!!!!

I have watched so many reaction of I.U fans of the both duets. What I found out is that she has some of the most passionate fans full of hatred for other artist. They believe that no other artist can be better than her and that she is the most populair and talented person in the world. They even go so far by belittling Kungsoo's talents. Glad that I.U is different than them. I didn''t see EXO-L'S acting like this even dough many of us didn;t like her version of "'I Do''. Their is a reason why her version didn;t get viral but Kyungsoo's cover did.

IU is actually is a huge fan of Kyungsoo. Many high quality singers in the industry are his fan. He is one of the main Vocalists of the legendary group EXO (known as kings of vocals). You may need to check them up. Thanks anyways.

I could see why you feel like he did okay not great. As you've mentioned you're a long time IU fan and there's the thing about being a long-term fan that makes a person very aware of the subtlest detail of a singer's voice and music. It is usually impossible for a cover to be better than the original especially for a fan. Me also as a fan having my fair share of saying most people butchered the song by covering it and just a few did "okay". For me IU's cover of "i do" was underwhelming but i know for a fact it's mostly because i don't listen to IU as much as i do listen to EXO and i couldn't catch how she added her own color and style to the song while i fully understood what did kyungsoo add to "love wins all". So i actually think you saying he did okay is a very big compliment, just feeling he didn't butcher a very special memorable song is great, in the same light, i also think IU must have done a phenomenonal job if i didn't feel like she ruined the song for me. Korean names have the surname first, so IU's real name is Lee Ji-eun, meaning her first name is Ji-eun and her family name or last name is Lee. Kyungsoo is the male singer's name, he (like IU) is also an actor. Doh is his surname.

I know all that. I just made a mistake. I was careless. I have heard others refer to him as Doh Kyung so I just followed along without thinking. I think I have done really well up until now. I will try not to embarass myself again. 😳

You obviously gotta clean your ears or something if thats all you have to say about HOW IMPRESSIVE KYUNGSOO'S VOICE IS! HE SANG IN THE ORIGINAL SONGS KEY, FEMALE KEY, THAT ALONE IS IMPRESSIVE. He did effortless runs which weren't even in the song, and his transitions from chest to mixed belt and head voice were amazing and so impressive. Listen to EXO's music and you'll understand why we praise him so much, the group is full of talent, even without the group, just him alone is better than most so called singers. I know you made an edit on your description but next time actually react to the music instead of trying to get the video over with. Pure lazyness. I appreciate your so called "honest reactions" but we, the viewers, need more than that. Hate me in the comments, i know yall agree.

And thanks for that, you commenting means you're trying to improve and I'm sure not just I but we appreciate it. And also that you reply to most comments, we need more KZfaqrs like that. Well yea, Im assuming anything Exo related is new to your channel and ears so it may be hard to comment on someone you barely know about but trust us when we say they're truly something magnificent, both as a group and soloists. D.O happens to me one of my many favorites because of how talented he is EVEN OUTSIDE OF MUSIC, my guy can act, cook, and do so many things, all members can. I’m the same but Kyung Soo managed to make me fall in love with one of her songs. I even watched one of her mvs for the first time. (For this song, it is excellent.) I doubt I’ll become a fan, as soprano voices are uncomfortable to me, especially when they’re sweet and airy, but I give the song high marks. She’s a great lyricist.

Listen to IU's 'Through the Night'. That uses her lower registers. Her voice spans octaves. Knees too. Anyway, I obviously love IU's voice. We all have our own preferences.

Can’t disagree with you more. Your arrogance to knock Kyungsoo was beyond!?! Were you expecting him to sound like IU? Because it seems like that’s the only person you were interested in. He is a man singing an incredibly high key song that suits IU’ voice. He picked a key perfect for his voice and did a fantastic job.

I agree, i adore Do Kyungsoo's voice and i thought he did a wonderful job, but the part at the end with IU was the best part. I think Love Wins All is just one of those songs that only IU can do ❤

I think many people are upset with your biased opinion that Doh Kyungsoo did 'okay'. Many others, including myself, think Kyungsoo did a phenomenal job. I am a fan of both IU and Kyungsoo. And FYI, IU is a huge fan of Kyungsoo. She even believed he did amazing. That was the best cover of 'Love Wins All' that we have heard. So I think you might get a lot of upset Do Kyungsoo fans. Thanks for giving him a chance and listening.

@@eg7335 It's ok, it's his opinion. Personally, for me - kyungsoo was on fire, but he usually is. The reason the song lifted at the duet part was there was a key change but perhaps thats something we just picked up on? But most certainly the song lifted at the duet. I've always admired Kyungsoo's ability to change key with so much ease it's almost unnoticeable. He's also very good at harmonising seamlessly - I think those who listen to him more would notice the little things he did in both duets which are outside of his more normal approach in order to accommodate his partner. It's easier to assess when you're more familiar with his style. However, I strongly feel as dandanies (Kyungsoo fans) we are secure enough to never take an opinion so badly that we will get angry at someone who is likely unfamiliar with Kyungsoo's body of work - it really is ok ❤

@SA-gi4yb gwenchana 👌🏼 I couldn't agree more. And I even felt like he was holding back. It is one of the best duets to date. I am waiting for an official collaboration of IU and Kyungsoo. 🙏🏽
