Teddy Park "I've known Jisoo for like 6 years and I've only seen her cry........once." Seeing Jisoo cry in the video she appeared in makes you want to just hold her and dry her tears.

As a jisoo bias i thought I'd just let you know some things you were curious about during this: @6:00 they were referring to a tweet on twitter that basically said "if you cant even speak english when youre in america, stay in korea" and it ended up getting 1k retweets and 3k likes @8:00 that is very true. On countless occasions she puts the girls before herself, the producer of the netflix documentary even said "she is the type to step back and let others shine" this can be seen when she always steps back on end stages after they recieve an award, and recently on a variety show where all of the girls had a solo part, apart from jisoo who made her solo part a group game. Although at this time she stated she was going through a rough time and didn't feel very confident, so that may be why. @8:46 that was for their 'private stage' in Korea. Kind of like a one-off concert where they also play games and interact with the crowd. @11:00 she definitely cries, but she says she goes to a private place to let out her emotions because she doesn't like affecting the members or doesn't want blinks to see her upset A mention on the mistreatment: It's true that jisoo is mistreated by YG. She isn't treated as the visual (all girls have a thumbnail for a MV apart from jisoo) or lead vocalist (she has the least lines in almost all songs). She also has no solo content on BLACKPINK's youtube channel, whereas the other girls do. BUT... she has started to get more jobs off her own back. She got a solo variety show gig last year, which she contacted the makers of the show to be on herself (usually YG will book their artists). She also has been chosen as DIOR's muse & ambassador and is also an ambassador for CARTIER. AND she finally got a role as lead actress on a KDRAMA, it's called SNOWDROP so make sure you look out for it! It'll be released sometime in the summer this year! :) Also... she used to be the least popular member, but since How You Like That got released, she has gained in popularity SO MUCH and has also surpassed Rose's followers on instagram (this isn't a dig to rose, just a note to say how far she has come) Thank you for the love you show to Jisoo. She definitely needs it. :)

Jisoo is probably my favourite, I love her goofy personality, I think things have improved since this was made, she is the Korean ambassador for Christian Dior and she has had hosting gigs outside of black pink and on the album she has a lot more lines in the songs then their earlier songs.

Jisoo is the only member who hasn't had a thumbnail as her face, all the members had. And only a couple a months ago jisoo finally said the iconic lines "blackpink in your area" (all the members have said it except for her at that time). Jisoo finally got a song that she had the most lines in, but every other song she had the least amount of lines. Jisoo is also the only who doesnt have solo content on their blackpink channel. Jisoo is treated unfair, there are many more examples. But jisoo is so positive and us real blinks always fight justice for her!!!!

Jisoo's mistreatment in Blackpink rookie days was too obvious for us bc she is the VISUAL, she represents Blackpink's beauty in general. Yet thei put her in the (background). I have been a fan of Blackpink for a few years and unfortunately, I can confirm that the mistreatment and hate comments are very much true! The visual position goes to the member who best represents Korean beauty standards and they typically are meant to receive the spotlight to show the group's connection to their roots despite Western influences. Unfortunately, Jisoo usually receives less screentime and often dances in the back during their choreography. That's why when HYLT was released, people were amazed because not only was Jisoo in the front of the dance, she also took center position in the breakdowns. Jisoo has received many hate comments about her dancing. I admit she is no dancing machine like Lisa but she still dances so well and works to improve for Blinks. Not to mention, she is known as the Stable Queen for having the smoothest vocals while dancing. Also, many people also hated on her voice, calling it plain. Meanwhile, it is so deep and husky-something that was not as glorified in the pop scene as bright, high voices like Rosé (no hate to Rosie, her voice is pure heaven). Many also said that Jisoo was lucky she was pretty or else she wouldn't be in the group. But if Jisoo had no talent, why would she be in the group? CF means "commercial film." YG Entertainment was founded by Yang Hyan Suk who was the CEO during the time of Blackpink'a debut. In 2019, the company was going through some rough times because it was discovered that he was doing illegal gambling. It was a bad year for all artists who had to wait while the company figured things out. Blackpink was supposed to release the solos for the rest of the members by the end of 2019 but that was put on hold. about the brand contracts, in pre debut she had a lot more solo jobs with commercials and that kind of stuff, last year both her and Rosé got a lot more visibility in this area and I personally think the things are getting more balanced now that people got to see and know more about her as a human and not just as 1 member of blackpink

Like others have said Jisoo really is the hidden backbone of BP, and is always trying to communicate with blinks despite her busy schedule right now practicing for the online concert and filming a kdrama. She’ll even get on ig live or vlive late at night after her schedule just to talk to us. She also always uses the gifts that fans give to her and even uses and actors chair that was made by fans on the set of her k-drama. Some people may make excuses for Yg but it was known that Yg would turn down her cfs for group projects that would forget or ignore her. There actually a whole video on her mistreatment on KZfaq, but she doesn’t let it show that it gets to her.
