Excellent! I love Junna! She is a definite beast on the drums. I also loved the faces you were making while watching her drum, lol! I'm sure we all were making the same faces while air drumming! She has many great covers and an awesome original composition (Demon) so, I hope you don't stop here. Also, as others have said, Yoyoka is worth your time and attention as well. She is only 12 but, seems like she has about 50 years of experience playing drums. Looking forward to more!

There are two other drummers you should check, Tarn Softwihp from Thailand and Bunga bagnsa from Indonesia. They are AMAIZING!!

To clarify so it's easier to find songs that Junna was in. Junna was in Girls Rock Band Kakumei. When she left, Nagisa joined the band and they became TRiDENT. Junna = Girls Rock Band Kakumei Nagisa = TRiDENT Both versions of the band is good. Nagisa is a good drummer too and I think fits better with the sound that the band is going for.

To see her playing with a band. Look for Voltage by Trident. ( No longer a member) but still worth the watch. As is there new songs.

Everyone gets blown away hearing and seeing Junna play for the first time. Junna like to dress up in cosplay, so she is always dressed as an Idol Girl, but is in her twenties.

Never compare yourself, just do it, be inspired. Never 2nd think it either. Learning is a way of life, you never stop learning. So please continue your drumming.

I watched a few of your videos playing and you are very good. Don't think otherwise. In all the things we do as people there will always be those who may make us wonder why we bother. Remember we do so because our gifts are not just to bring joy to others but to ourselves as well. If you sit in your earphones, your heart racing to the beat, hammering away at your drums, smiling for no particular reason. Know in that moment why you play and why you should never stop. Because it brings you joy and through you we all share in that.

I love that Junna seems have sooo much fun when she plays!

She used to be with a band called Trident but they all had issues with her speed in drumming from the article I read last year and she has been on her own ever since. Between Junna and Haruna it is hard to choose which is my favorite drummer right now

Junna tends to get more attention than Nagisa because she is more of a solo artist but I think Nagisa actually fits the band better and absolutely has the skills to take the job even with Junna having been there before. I'm not going to compare you to Junna. My request was because, as you are a drummer too. I thought you might find it enjoyable. And because you're a drummer, I thought that you could maybe analyse, and breakdown what techniques she is using. After all, your channel is called Thisnerddrummer. Junna is a lot older than she looks. As most Asian's seem younger than they are. She used to be in a band called Trident. Tho they were known by a different name when she joined them. If it makes you feel any better I've enjoyed the drum covers you've posted to KZfaq. Junna is amazing but there's more to drumming than blind speed and accuracy otherwise we'd just program synth drums and listen to robots all day. Playing with feeling that connects with the listener is the most important thing. That and wearing a bonnet. I may be just a bit biased on that last point.
