Gasoline and INVU mvs are done by the same director hence the similarities, kntez have been calling them Artemis & Apollo and even the director made a little comment acknowledging it it's cute. The album is great too To answer you tho: No, it's no Kwangya, Key & rest of SHINee members said their stuff has no relation and will never be part of the sm storyline and lore. He actually mentioned that this mv is part of his own made world Keyland ( His solo concerts are all part of that Keyland universe and his mvs has nods to stuff from these) the mv actually represents his own kingdom and the lyrics that he wrote himself are about his drive & ambitions are like unstoppable gasoline. also, both the mv & the album photobook have nods to popular pop culture iconic characters

I love that this seems like a kind of parallel song to Taemin’s “Advice” in that it’s all about “Hey, I know what I’m doing because I’ve been in this industry for ages and y’all can kindly F off now. Just try me!” And I love that coming from my two SHINee boys! They’ve earned it! Also, gilded Key crawling at the camera is everything.

Looooove everything about this comeback of Key, the mv, the whole album… total banger

I'm so glad you checked this out! Between the teaser short films and all of the different sets in the mv I think this might be the most outfits I've ever seen for one comeback. I love the maximalist makeup and detailing, the beading on the gold and the silver/blue outfits is exquisitely detailed. Key has always rolled his eyes at SM trying to rope them into Kwangya, the most he ever conceded was that it could be a planet in the same universe as the Keyland planet! I love the TaeHyo mv parallels though. If you find the time on your own you might enjoy his music show stages for Bound (vogueing!) and Villain (with NCT Jeno), he's been extremely charismatic in his performances. He also released a music video for the bside Another Life which is more in the Bad Love album soundscape. I'm happy to hear you've been finding a healthier balance work wise, it's difficult to tame the urge to check out everything immediately upon release but something's got to give and you don't want it to be you!

I think PD from Form of Therapy nailed it when they said that KEY broke all the rules with this, making a whole damn boy group song and killing it just on his own 👏❤️
