Hi SalvoG! It's a song about a wife who's torn about leaving her adulterous husband. She put her 'Rock Diva' cap on for this one, using heavier-than-normal levels of distortion to produce a grittier vocal production (i.e. vocal fry, guttural tones, growls, and of course, the signature vocal cries). Extremely versatile vocalist, as you can see, switching seamlessly from smooth, melismatic singing in the previous songs you reacted to, then turning on the distortion levels - like having a whammy bar on an electric guitar - for this song. Insane vocal instrument she's got. But no matter what style she sings in, the constant is that very open vocal tract, which enables her to maintain a rounded tone (as opposed to shrill and piercing) even when hitting these types of high notes: 6:45 You'd be hard-pressed to find anyone that's as good as her today. For my next request, why not a little Soul, R&B?
