7th Sense wasn't just NCT U's debut, it was the debut of NCT in general. Yes, that is how this group came out. I think at this point you've gotten most of NCT U's title tracks since they don't have many to begin with. But they do have quite a few MVs so I think you still have: Without You, TImeless, Coming Home, and Yestoday. They also have quite a few OSTs that no one talks about for some reason like" New Dream" (Taeil/Jaehyun), "New Love" (Doyoung/Jaehyun), Radio Romance (Taeil, Doyoung), "Baby Only you" (Doyoung/Mark)

The 7th Sense was the real revolution and the start of NCT as a whole. When NCT debuted with such a different sound they were called the downhill of sm ent, but now in 2020 I haven't seen a person who wouldn't agree that The 7th Sense is that b and deserved more recognition and love. As you saw, "Baby Don't Stop" is a duo performance by two of the best dancers in NCT. And even though there are only 2 members, this is considered an NCT-U song. Any number of members can be involved in a NCT-U song or performance. So this is more of a dance song than a song that is lyric heavy. However, I think this song also does a pretty good job of highlighting what great vocalists Ten and Taeyong are as well. Ten is an amazing singer and Taeyong (the leader of NCT), as I think you know, is considered a rapper of the group, but he is also a great singer. However, as you can see from this video, they are both multi-talented.That is why SM chose them to be a part of this duo, as well as members of SuperM. NCT-U is the group that is the United -- or, as I like to think of them, Universal -- group which means that any of the members of NCT can be a part of NCT-U. NCT-U is not a fixed unit so the members change depending on the concept of the song. The MV for "Baby Don't Stop" was filmed in the winter in the Ukraine, at the same time as the MV for "Boss." So that is why you might notice that "Boss" and "Baby Don't Stop" have similar looks and vibes. If you like their dancing, you should check out their dance practice video for "Baby Don't Stop." Pretty much every NCT MV has a dance practice video to go along with it. And it's always worth checking out the dance practices. They never fail to impress. Also check out Taeyong and Ten's individual freestyle and solo choreography videos on SM's NCT Dance KZfaq Channel. You will be even more impressed. :D Fun fact: Because Ten is Thai, they also have a Thai version of "Baby Don't Stop" -- there are live performances of Ten and Taeyong performing the Thai version, as part of their Thai promotions for this song, if you want to hear what it sounds like in Thai. However NCT is still a young group and NCT-127 has only done one major tour and NCT-Dream has only done a small regional tour, so there aren't a whole lot of Live performances to check out from them, besides comeback stages and TV programs, which are usually kind of risky to react to. However, there are plenty of dance practice videos and special vlog and behind the sense videos from NCT. NCT's entire life is pretty much documented by them and put online.

The very first time I saw "The 7th Sense", i was just stunned. I felt like my entire music life had reached a turning point. It's rare to come across a song that does that. This is officially my 2nd favorite debut song of a kpop group.

Yestoday is one of the last NCT U songs you haven’t seen yet (I think the last non-ballad at least) and it is so amazing and somehow still so underrated. If you liked Lightbulb off of the Resonance album you would love Yestoday.

7th sense might be my favourite debut ever I'm probably very biased but it was the debut of nct as a general by the way, they added members after that and now they're 23🥺 and then put them into units, also Baby Don't Stop was soooo fun in concert everyone was shouting baby don't stop it was so fun and Taeten is iconic. Boss is sooo iconic I wish it got promoted better, it was Lucas and Jungwoo's debut 🥺 they did that! They have a dance and music channel where they upload dance and music covers and they are exceptionally I hope you react to some of them my personal favourites are all of Taeyong's dance covers my personal favourites Paris In the rain, Oh Go featuring some other members, senorita, tbh they're all fire so I'd watch all of them, Tens dance covers I love taki taki and humble, other members haven't really done any but I believe mark maybe has one, I love their music cover till this day Jaehyun I like me better is my all time favourite cover also Doyoung's breathin is legendary and any Doyoung cover, recently Renjun did fools by troy sivan and it's amazing, there's a lot of music covers by most members so I highly recommend them😊💚

In "The 7th Sense," what you are seeing, as part of NCT's dream concept, is supposed to be the use of the 7th sense. Humans have 5 physical senses -- sight, touch, hearing, taste and smell. The 6th sense would be, the ability to perceive or sense something that isn't there, like, for example, in the movie "The Sixth Sense" where the boy could sense ghosts. So in this MV SM used the "7th sense" to describe where NCT's dream state comes from. The 7th sense transcends the physical world and it deals with the dream realm. If you look up the English translation of the lyrics, you will see how they are all talking about dreaming, so each of the scenes within the MV is a different part of the dream or each of their individual dreams. (It's really worth looking up the lyrics to help understand NCT's concept and this song better.) "The 7th Sense" came out April 4, 2016, and it is NCT-U's debut. As you saw, in this song and MV, there are 5 members who debuted as the first installment of NCT-U -- Taeyong, Mark, Ten, Jaehyun and Doyoung. This was a really important MV because it was the public's first introduction to NCT and it was NCT's first debut out of all of their sub-units. Fun fact: About 3 months after NCT-U debuted, in July 2016, Taeyong, Mark and Jaehyun debuted again as original members of NCT-127 with the song "Fire Truck" -- along with new members Taeil, Yuta, WinWin and Haechan. Lee SooMan is kind of known for being a little extra and going over the top and this presentation is a good example of that. LOL NCT's concept has always been centered on different aspects of dreams and dreaming, so part of the showcase sets up the group's dream concept. Therefore, even SM's rappers could be main vocalists, and a lot of their vocalists are pretty good rappers.

I’m a casual fan of SM groups but I think “7th Sense” is one of the best debut songs for a Kpop group. Definitely a good way to start off NCT because I believe it’s the overall debut of NCT in general.

I have to say NCT U are one of my fave groups in kpop simply because they remind me of the Australian group Chase Atlantic. Just super chill and vibey. NCT's whole group concept is based on dreams and dreaming. So most of what they do has something to do with some aspect of dreaming or being in a dream state. So in NCT-U's "Boss" MV, what I think you see being depicted in the ceiling of the dome is something to do with the fact that it is all a dream, as well as pretty much everything that is happening in the MV. It all has to do with a dream. As you saw, "Boss" has 7 members -- Taeyong, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Winwin, Jungwoo, Lucas and Mark. But NCT-U's sub-unit is designed so that the group is constantly changing and rearranging so don't expect to have 7 members every time in NCT-U songs.There is no telling how many members or even who will be included in any of NCT-U's songs. (In "The 7th Sense," for example, there were only 5 members, however, only 4 of the members who were in "The 7th Sense" are in "Boss.") They actually went all the way to the Ukraine to shoot the MV for "Boss." 7th Sense is very legendary/iconic for obvious reasons (especially since it was a debut song) but Baby Don't Stop had a big impact in a different way XD It became a really popular song at gay clubs and pride parades because it's entirely gender neutral.

will you check out more nct dream soon? they're in my opinion the most underrated unit (and my favorite lol). for songs, my favorite nct dream songs of all time are We Go Up and Don't Need Your Love (DNYL). We Go Up is SUCH a feel good song, it makes me so happy! DNYL is a collab with a british (i think) pop artist names hrvy, it's literally SO good! and i'd also recommend you check out My First and Last- it's the song that got NCT it's first win (the first win from any of the units)! it's on the cuter side but the song is super catchy and the choreo is super cool! (i'd say my first and last is still their baby phase, and we go up and dnyl are dream's teenager phase lol) also, as for guides, softjun has 2 for dream. the newer one is updated about the structure of the group (as dream's old graduation system was removed this year), and in general more up to date. however, in my opinion i like the info about each member that's in the original guide more (and all the info on the members is still pretty relevant now), i feel like there are more important traits in the first guide! if you can't record your reaction to both guides i hope you at least watch whichever one you don't record on your own time! i think it'll really help you get to know the members even better :)

They can do any concept because they can pull any members they need. If anything I think they're too conservative with what they do with it because they can do ANYTHING.

There was a time I'd just keep it on loop for a while And I agree with you that NCT U has the best discography of all the units, and partly because of the unique concept of it being a rotational group. The songs benefit from the members that could best interpret them. And of course they can try any concept under the sun. There are no limits.
