The name of the Simple Minds bass player is John Giblin, I heard recently he has passed on,RIP John...Robin Clark is a legend in her right,Check her out.

Robin Clark was brought in as backing vocalist for the album Once Upon a Time and toured with the Minds for their 85/86 world tour promoting the album

The pop music in '80 in Europe Is more commercial but some band it was top notch SIMPLE MINDS , Eurythmics , Level 42 , Style Council ... actual band are without talent. I' am Rock e Metal fan From over 30 years old . In the '80 was Teenager . Iron Maiden , Saxon , Judas Priest . USA Van Halen , kiss , Savatage , Queensryche , Metallica , Slayer. . Dream Theater , Fates Warning , Yngwie Malmsteen....
