Jared also just did a project with Matt Heafy of Trivium called Dines x' Heafy Project. Funny how life works. Jared and Matt became friends after doing a Shred War on Jared Channel. After that, Matt asked Jared to come on tour with Trivium and do a couple of songs with them and part way through the tour Matt was called home because his wife was in labor. Matt asked Jared to fill in for the rest of the tour so he had learn the rest of the songs immediately. Now as fate would have it, Light the Torch (Howard's band) and Avatar were the opening bands and both singers filled in to help on vocals. From there Howard and Jared became friends and the rest is history. Great reaction and I can tell you meant every word you said.

Everyone is praising Howard, and Howard deserves it. However... I'd like to give props to Jared. He wrote all of the music for the entire album, and sent it to Howard (10 tracks). Howard created lyrics and recorded vocals for all of the tracks, then sent them back to Jared. I watched an interview between them, and they laughed at how they hardly even talk outside of texting. I hope the rest of the project is as good as this tune.

You will love Jared's channel,a lot of comedy,variety,and killer guitar. Don't have to sell you on Howard,Peace from an even older music-nerd!

I once met Howard backstage at a KSE gig. He'd set two tables up near a booth and was using them to do push-ups, dipping down between them for maximum movement. You could see his muscles threatening to tear his leather jacket open Hulk-style! Very intimidating to see, but one of the nicest guys I've ever met.

First time I saw him live was when he was in Blood Has Been Shed. He's been awesome for fucking years!

Since you mentioned the absence of drummer in credits. There's no official information for now, but Jared can play drums on solid level as well (and actually he can even scream - there's a bootleg footage of him joining Suicide Silence on stage). He was playing drums in one of his previous bands. Even though he's mostly known for being a huge source of metal memes than actual music, he's absolutely capable of doing high quality metal stuff when it's necessary. So it's definitely possible that he did all the instruments, while Howard carried vocals.

@ OldSkuleNerd... Howard and Jared met when they filled in for Matt Heafy's short departure from Trivium on their 2019 tour. They hit it off, and Howard reached out to Jared during COVID. The Sion album is the result. Jared also release an ep with Matt Heafy in December. He's a no joke musician.

Howard Jones also had a few projects after KSE. First was Devil You Know after a disagreements with the drummer the band left and started the band Light The Torch. Same members of devil you know just with a new drummer. Definitely check them out!

Such a great song and I jumped on this I saw this pop up in my Notifications. I'd heard that Jared and Howard were doing an EP/Album (7 songs) together, but was absolutely Godsmack'd (sorry, bad pun) when I heard this. I hope we get to see you do more reactions to Jared's stuff. He's a talented multi-instrumentalist and most likely if he didn't fully play the drums on this track himself, he at least programmed them (he does this for a lot of his original stuff). His "Daddy Rock" stuff is pretty fun as well if you want something funny to react to. Also, I hope he sees this video because I'm pretty sure he'd be 100% down with the roast. It's totally on brand that he really doesn't take himself that seriously and some of this stuff (like the unbuttoned shirt) are specifically done to make sure people are having fun in addition to loving the music.

He was having complications with his diabetes. In an interview or social media post (I don't remember which) he said he was actually in a coma for a few days because of it. I saw Howard in 2012 shortly after he left KSE and joined Devil You Know in Lubbock, Tx. His voice is so strong I thought he was going to blow out the speakers on the stage. It was a FFDP headlined tour that had like 20 bands there and KSE was one of them.

Though no drummer is listed... I'd be willing to bet that Jared programmed the drums for all of the tracks. He's a drummer as well as a guitarist. Though he's not nearly as proficient on drums as he is guitar... he's still good enough to have programmed a very competent drum groove.
