@@RustySabita the EPs are basically the "birth" of Vessel. The entire EP One was written, composed and performed by Vessel. Everything. Then the Drummer, II (pronounced 2) came along for The rest. He actually won Drummer of the Year from Drumeo for 2023. So Vessel and II performed the rest of their discography. Truly amazing. But their full length albums At LEAST would give you the story of Vessel and his tumultuous journey in his relationship with the Diety SLEEP. (Look up ST lore on Wikipedia). Between the lore, the costumes/masks, the awesome music and genre blending and that wonderful voice....muah 🤌, chef's kiss!!! So, at least start with The Night Does Not Belong To God from their full length album Sundowning, then follow in order through the albums. By the time you get to Euclid in the latest album Take Me Back To Eden, it will have come full circle. It's a rollercoaster ride and a journey that's emotional, awe inspiring, completely worth the deep dive. I haven't seen a band do this since Queensryche and the story of Mary on their Operation Mind Crime album. Each song is different from the last, but still Sleep Token if that makes sense 😂. I can't wait to follow your journey. It's the closest thing to listening to them for the first time ourselves!! We ST fans envy getting to hear them for the first time. So we live vicariously through people hearing them for the first time 😂. So I'm here for it 😁 Worship ♥️

That does sound like a good idea. I'm trying only to do 10 songs per band, max. Otherwise, it would take forever to finally listen to all their stuff. If you had 9 songs in this start to end order, that were a must? What would you say is a few of them? I'll definitely enjoy that.

So, basically AT THE LEAST start with The Night Does Not Belong To God, The Offering, Dark Signs, Higher, Bloodsport (from the room below version) Atlantic, Hypnosis, The Love You Want, Fall For Me (full video is a must) Like That, Missing Limbs, Chokehold, (you already did The Summoning), Granite, Ascensionism, Rain, Take Me Back To Eden (title track) and must absolutely end with Euclid. That was basically their set list on tour. It'll take you through most of the journey so you'll hear some call backs for sure. I know that's probably more than. 9 but they are all essential. 😁

I'm glad to hear how much you love them! How long have you been following them for? Also, are those songs in release order or? I've not heard of Imminence? Same style as Sleep Token or?

I have been following Sleep Token for two years. I saw them live a few weeks ago and it was incredible! In order would be Thread the Needle The Offering Atlantic Chokehold Vore Ascensionism Take Me Back to Eden A lot of reactors have just started at the beginning but that’s a commitment lol. They have two 3-song EPs and three full length albums. But they tell a story so I think to really appreciate the music it’s a worthwhile journey. If I was reacting I would listen in order but maybe only do certain songs as reactions. That’s just me though. Imminence (Swedish band) is different but there is a darkness to their music that is similar. The lead singer Eddie Berg has wonder cleans, growls and probably the best screams. He also plays the violin while screaming. So they have a beautiful orchestral side to their music. They go pretty hard.
