Beatness won the year before so automatically qualified for 2019 GBB. I think he just wanted to showcase his music rather than going all out for the win. Love your reactions by the way please do lots of loopstation and beatbox :)

Jack A Loopstation was the thing that dragged me back into the beatbox scene HARD lol since the year Saro competed I’ve been watching battles and been a fan of looping I hope to get my own one day 😁

Love your reactions and insight. This one is a battle of styles in a lot of ways. Beatness is so clean and precise but lacks a little in energy dept. So-So is a little less precise but WOW that energy. World needs to see Brez v SO-SO

I love SO-SO! He has so much fun doing what he does and you can't help but be happy around him. You are the first person I've seen mention how Scott does the countdown depending on the performer's nationality. You should react to Bigman Confused when you get the chance.

I love that the loop battles and beatbox battles have their own unique feel. Beatboxers really showcase insane talent and technique in a short period, but not all make full fledged songs. Loopers are real time composing music and DJing. It's fantastic to give both types of artists their spotlight. Huge ups for covering these amazing talents!

Beatness has a video on his channel which is the full version of his first round. If you listen, you can see that he messed up the pitching on the loopstation pretty badly for the two notes on that last drop. The version on his channel doesn't really sound chopped n screwed at the end like it does here. I think if he had pulled that off his round would have scored a lot higher.

I recommend watching the battles mainly for the atmosphere and context of the battle, but watch their solo compilations to react to all their performances individually
