The music box is a set they built as a scale model. It was fun watching it being built on the BTS. It was even cooler seeing all 5 of them beatboxing in that little section! They just keeping knocking it out of the park. This video is dedicated to Eli's mom and Rachel's dad--they both passed last year.

Dave, even if you don’t love musicals, you really have to see Les Miserables the movie. You’ll be stunned at the singing by Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway (who also will rip your heart out), and Russell Crowe, among others. It’s gorgeous! You know during that one percussion segment when everybody is doing a little beatboxing? I really would love a wide shot to see what Cesar was doing physically. He uses his whole body when he sings. J.None left a hole in the group that nobody can fill, but Cesar filled another hole that we didn’t even know was there. He’s added something really special to the group. Great reaction, as usual!!

VoicePlay is awesome. It was fun to get your reaction. I am one that likes your beatbox reactions too. I appreciate that you don't lock us into one type of music/video reactions. It is good and healthy to try new things and I love that you understand we won't necessarily like all that you react to. Part of what makes you a excellent reactor.

Hey Dave, first, great reaction (as always). Also, Eli's name isn't pronounced as that name usually is (EE-lie), but rhymes with 'belly' (ELL-ee). I guess that pronunciation comes from the fact that it's short for Eliezer, the first two syllables of which rhyme with 'belly'.

My understanding is that Rachel does a fair amount of Broadway - I'm guessing that it is her first love, before VoicePlay. And then, she and her family are not based in Orlando, so that would be a challenge as a full member.

From what I understand, Rachel is very unlikely to join VoicePlay as a permanent member. She has a well-established career in Nashville, and a family to boot. With VoicePlay based in Orlando, she would have to completely uproot both her family and career to join VoicePlay full time. So, as much as we love her, she's going to be staying as a featured guest with the group, not a permanent member.

If you liked Laynes Beatboxing , I suggest you check out when they where back on the Sing off . The Tour they made of the Show he had a Battle with the Beatboxers of Homefree and The Fillharmonic . That was pretty awesome . Also when Voiceplay had Tours he also got Beatbox Solos . He has a great Skills .

Haven't watched the movie but I adore the soundtrack! Can't wait to see what voiceplay does with this! Sorry I have been late in catching these been sick the last few days.

Love your reactions! Always one of the first I look for on new Voiceplay. Just a small nitpick tho, Eli is pronounced like L-E, Not E-Lie. Keep it up!

Rachel is just awesome, probably the only singer I have ever heard singing with Voiceplay who can actually drown out Eli. Eli has some power, but Rachel just makes him look like an amatuer in the power stakes.

Also, they do all beatbox in that beatbox break, not just Layne :)
