Nowadays tosca is an experienced singer and she interprets everything with great class. But she actually sang better songs in the past: “il respiro più grande”, “cosa fará dio di me”, the duet “vorrei incontrarti tra cent’anni” with Ron (they won sanremo with it in the midnineties). One of my personal faves of hers is another duet with another great Italian artist, Rossana casale. The song is called “respiro”.

This is the kind of Italian song that makes me want to change tv channel when I watch Sanremo. I hate this kind of sloppy melody and tear-jerker lyrics. And I’m old enough to be your mum!
