PMS stands for Perempuan Merdeka Seutuhnya [ women who are completely independent ] The lyrics contain a protest against discriminatory and judgmental attitudes which are often directed at women who have mindsets, perspectives, attitudes and desires or dreams that are different from the general norm in the mainstream. VOB made their new song a celebration for women who have succeeded in breaking down this stereotype and represent the voices of women from various regions that are still heavily influenced by social norms wrapped in patriarchal values🖤 This single was written by Marsya (vocals and guitar), Widi (bass), and Sitti (drums) when the three of them were still in high school in 2017. “We wrote this song with the leftover energy from school. The thing is, at that time it happened that school activities were hectic. So after school, we gathered in the studio for a workshop on this song," Marsya said in a press release🖤

This song has an incredible riff sound and lots of different vibes going on, but also have a touch of nostalgic era of 80's - 90's. I love how Widi always adds such a kick-ass baseline after Marsya's solos. Meanwhile Sitti, as the beat commander, always faithfully controls the tempo. What stands out the most to me is the harmony when everybody singing together on the chorus. 😍🔥🤘

everyone has a journey but their journey (VOB) is very inspiring from those who are not descendants of musicians, economic factors, discrimination, being demeaned and many more.. now they are starting to get recognition what they show is skill not relying on appearance dang MARSYA once said don't judge us from the appearance but criticize us in music what should be improved....thank you for the support, this is a very extraordinary reaction and I really appreciate it...regards, BALAD'CEPROT vans VOB from Indonesia

they're realy break all the stereotypes, they're young, they're female, they're from village, and they're also hijabi muslim, what in the world people can think with those categories the word "rock/metal band" can potrays in our mind. i suggest you to react another of their video like when they cover "sabotage" from beastie boy at pasiwali festival in taiwan. i use to hear this song but never really like it untill i see vob cover this song, because they have strong passion and strong energy that makes that song very different than the original one. and i hope you will enjoy it too...

anna solo per tua informazione, il più grande festival di musica metal del mondo il canale ufficiale wacken tv ha appena pubblicato un video di un concerto vob poche ore fa, tutti noi fan di tutto il mondo abbiamo chiesto lo spettacolo completo nella colonna dei commenti, si sono esibiti solo 3 canzoni delle 11 che sono state riprodotte da vob, ravviviamo vob sul canale ufficiale di wacken tv in modo che vob ottenga molte visualizzazioni sul video e diventi ancora più virale, grazie...
