The unfortunate thing about songs/videos like this is that i can tell that homie can rap rap. Like you said, the flow and rhyme schemes are super nice, and the overall feel on the song is really cool and definitely different, but low production quality always turns me off from continuing to listen. But im sure hes gonna keep improving on that and once he gets that on par with his writing hes gonna be a problem!
