It is not any instrument he gambled away, it is one of the most famous and expensive violins!!! It is called a Stradivarius and it values at over 16 million dollars now! Great video though.

However, that's in our time. In Paganini's time that violin would be worth only a couple tenthousands. A high quality professional instrument, but it wouldn't yet have that fame and value of today.

Since you think that memorize a concerto it's not that amazing or surprising, I think I would be nice If you make a video memorizing one adaption of a concerto into the instrument you play (in case you don't play piano). Record the processes and everything. I think I would be an interesting experience and fun to watch...sorry for my English and no bad vibes by any means.

Tbh when we take the fact classical is not your area, this reaction was still lots of fun lol. It would be fun to see you react to classical conspiracy theories and the Bach vs Beethoven diss track! Don't mind some negative comments:d You actually paid attention and that's enough. Also having classical education before other genres is really something that shows. Example, Ronnie James Dio.

YOYOYOYOYO ling ling insurance!!!!! Paganini composed the 24 Caprice. It’s a PIECE and not a song. Also Paganini was said to have made a deal with the devil to get his violin skills, hence the necromancer reference.

Addiction's terrible. Betting your Strad is what a gambling addiction can lead to (gamblers can bet their children even). This TSV video is a a lot easier to appreciate if you're familiar with the lives of the composers and their works. The notes above help but you have to stop and read them which interrupts the flow. Tho if you're reacting you really will interrupt anyway, so I guess it matters less.
