I would add Talan on twitch as a streamer worth watching. He’s climbed to challenger on 4 roles, and working on the 5th. He says the same things that are mentioned in this video. He’s even tempered for the most part.

I started playing wild rift for the first time and reached emerald 1 in 150 matches (almost diamond but internet connection decided other wise - 14 loosing streak) I don't understand how people could not reach diamond it is so easy! What is not easy is mastering champions.

😂 Sona is never a useful champ most of the time, she needs items and time to scale to a level where she is impactful (lol, Royal actually mentioned this after I finished typing this). I can give a shorter and faster guide than Royal 😅: 1. Pick a role; pick 4 champions (1 more as last resort) 2. Read the abilities and passive of the champions 3. Understand the role 4. Read the map FREQUENTLY 5. Practice the champions in VS AIs and other modes before attempting Rank 6. Read the description of the items 7. Understand the item system and passive mechanism 8. Test out item build in Practice mode for the numbers 9. Master the role, the champions, the itemizations in Normal and other modes before climbing 10. Keep calm and don't tilt 😅 My friend coached me for free when he was at Gold (He is much higher now). I played less than 20 games to Gold+ with 55-60% winrate the first time I climbed (KDA 7+ & 65-70% KP). Do I need a Challenger Tier coach? Nope. Anyone who is really good with in-game knowledge can coach as long as they are accurate and they can teach with precise wordings; they need to point out mistakes with fewest words and give constructive recommendations to work on. Finally, for anyone to learn, one must be open-minded, willing to admit mistakes and take actions in correcting them. One must be able to read and apply sounded adaptations to the situation in-game as quickly as possible. It's a mutual process. 😊

Towards 3 years, Wild Rift fans are still few

My personal tip for true beginners. look at map as much as you can, this skill is needed and crucial no matter what champion you play, by looking at map consistently you'll slowly learn how macro and micro works in MOBA naturally, i know this seems pretty obvious but trust me this simple thing will help you learn the flow of the game very quickly and naturally. - FIND PARTNER, if you're truly new to the Wildrift or moba in general having a partner or two will help you learn way way faster than going solo from the start. Wether from a match, community etc. you can always find someone who'll want to play in a team. Play in a team until you comfortable with the game flow and after you can go for solos. also thanks for keeping the community lively riftguide. ;)

One thing I don't agree with is late game junglers like Gwen being easy to play. For me, I almost never get to scale in gm because the concept of late game champions like Sona or Gwen relies too much on your team playing well 4v5 and not making mistakes until you scale, which is inherently wrong (external locus of control). On the other hand, playing against Kayle or Gwen jg becomes easier in high elo because you can invade or pressure them with Lee sin and end the game.

I know it! I had feeling about matchmaking being stat based. This explains why my matchmaking is terrible. I get 2kd midlaners with 600gpm.. Wished they just matched rank instead of stats matching.

I do have something to say about matchmaking. The matchmaking tries to give you a 50% change every game, based on your current skill level, regardless if it’s good or bad. In order to climb, you have to be better than the matchmaker currently thinks you are. People in the middle of the pack will have a difficult time climbing. They have to constantly improve, not just maintain their current skill. Of course this matchmaker isn’t perfect, and there’s rank constraints on the matchmaker, so it’s still possible for everyone to climb, but it’s still fundamentally, and the design level, a bad system.

sona's utility is broken once you reach 2-3 item powerspike you almost always win slow teamfights and outsustain enemies she can provide everyone with heals and shield plus 15 ability haste with flowing waters but then she's a really hard champion to play since she's basically useless before then.

I tell you something, guys... There is no useless champions, only useless players. Each player have different playstyle, different pool, skill... Tier list not working on everyone, random otp player can outplay almost all matchups. Play how you like, learn YOUR champions, choose your playstyle, learn how to play it in different elo, no need to hurry. When you done - go and shine.

Tbh its depend on player decision and luck ... My skill are average .. My hand aint fast except i play ryhtim game like osu which i can handle prety fine with mod HD or double time .. But my thumbs finger kinda slow ... I dont truly the mechanic and stuff... My season 0 was gold 1 and till s3 i climbed to master for first time ... S5 was gm mark 32 and vanguisher 4 iirc... And finally in s7 and s8 i reach challenger ... And legend 4 LR .. 99% of my game are soloq btw

In my opinion, u can use Sona if you are with your friends and are confident in their skills but going Sona blindly Soloq is a HUGE risk cuz your randoms can pick great champs but play them terribly! This is something I’ve noticed a lot in rank and will never understand y ppl pick a champ they got no clue how to use…

Maybe trade sona with lulu or janna both have low skill floor (the later have a high skill ceiling) and always useful without having to scale. Nami, karma, &sera for more agro option.

i know random personally, it is Ru player. Recently when they won Nova tournament, most of the tier 1-2 commands agree upon one thing - Ranked is dead. Leading people to not carring about the builds probably a good thing, however, upcoming boots with 60ap sometimes makes me think that low elo players not that wrong saying that build matters xd However, the main point is that If riot keep pushing casuality over madness boarders as royal once mentioned about this super extra XLLL challenger and overlooking the balance system, then ya All this help will not be effective since majority will cry over reddit that their kayn for some reason had not kill with W+E+Q from the bush. Appreciate that you still pushing players to be more consious but damn, imo game is far more dead as they deleted official pro scene. I just sorry can't (emotional confusion as it is)

I also said it many times (since s6),every game, Sona was rubbish, feeling impact from Sona in the game almost zero, not good for laning,attack,counter gank,Team Fight, once I use her in the master tier (don't Make the tog item first), and I won because the Comp Comply Team was not so heavy or needed something and the ADC with me could be said to be quite independent (tristana/=).

Mid and jungle are best positions.for hard carrying your games only drawbacks if your mid with a shit jungler or your jungle with all 4 players feeding can make it more difficult jungle prob best position to climb tho can control the map better than mid

if you want a high rank make high learnings about the game as simple as that but if you just play for fun make it fun by not blaming or grieving anyone just play normal not feeding though

I'd honestly want an engage support than Sona. And they aren't really meta.. The funniest anti healing situation is when you're playing Evelynn with no other champions having innate healing and not currently building vamp.. Like why you building anti healing? Eve literally only heals when out of combat.. You know when gw wears off Kek.

This is so wrong in my perspective. Never seen something that pity, but judging others content. All we know that there is more troll creators as even Royal has mentioned giving for example really weird build, but there is more also those who has no less but more respect like Darkbreaker, hellraiser, etc. since they have more subs and already built their credibility, and - still giving weird builds proclaiming them godly effective. However your "reaction" seems like a genuin fear that someone may steal your audience. As i said, it is not about the content that other one did, since if you were to about "fix" rumors and "useless" data around the all youtube, Royal would been not first on the list. Big L Both of you are small fishes with good intentions, however if you have something to say about the "useless" "misleading" content, choose the bigger fish.
