@@anotherpersonfromnorfolk1587 I highly doubt that's the reason Omni-Man didn't join in. He likely wanted Mark to get taught a lesson. Pretty sure Omni-Man was surprised by Battle Beast when he first saw how strong he was, so at this point in the series, Omni-Man didn't really know how strong BB was.

@@Divinemakyr 3 reasons all the same time. 1. To teach Mark a lesson 2. Battle Beast was not a natural protector of Earth, not his business and 3. He wanted to let the Battle Beast weaken Earth's protectors which is his goal in the first place.

I haven't read the comic but I think he just wanted a fight and not the money, when Machine Head called him on a potential good fight he didn't miss the chance.

Equating Battle Beast to Thanos doesn't hold up. Battle Beast lives for battle. All he wants is a good fight. Thanos is simping for Mistress Death (or whatever he's doing). Battle Beast literally had nothing better to do.

The difference being Darkseid has shit to do. Battle Beast is literally bored out of his mind and just looking for a good fight. So getting hired as muscle for crime bosses on random planets just might work out.

Omni-Man did not directly intervene for two reasons: 1) He likely heard of Battle Beast before and realized he is too honorable to kill people so much weaker than him 2) Battle Beast would absolutely fold him if he tried something

Reminds me about some of those "cocky mma fighter" videos on YT where guy is a show off and insults opponent but once inside the ring he gets folded super easy.

No such thing as half Viltrumites. Canonically Viltrumite DNA is superior so "half" Viltrumites are more like 99% Viltrumites. The main problem here is just that Mark was way too young and just recently gained his powers.

LOL. no. The only one present who would stand a SLIGHT chance was Nolan. Aside from him only Mark had the POTENTIAL to deal physical damage to Battle Beast. Robot was more like an annoying fly. Monster Girl vs Battle Beast was something like a raging toddler. The punches might cause slight discomfort but no thread of injury XD
