This just brings me back to 2008. I was 12 and this was the first relevant historical moment I'd ever experienced (with understanding to what was happening). I'm almost 27 and still come back to watch these clips. It just makes me so happy and my heart so full. It's so hard to believe how much time has already passed. I was a child, now I'm knocking on the door to my 30's and still have the same chills I did then.

Obama is a smooth talking sellout neoliberal and _paved the way for someone like Trump._ In a time of crisis he run on Hope and Change - and sold out to the big donors in 2008 already. Especially ! to the banksters. Citibank "vetted" the people that were considered for appointments the campaign got the mail in October 2008 - Dems lost 1000 seats on all levels of government during the Obama presidency. In 2012 he pullied it off (but not in the landslide of 2008) - on personal popularity, some 2008 supporters _still_ hoped he would be bolder in his second term (nope, he doubled down on the neoliberal policies and even pushed for TPP) and Hurricane Sandy may have helped a little bit. His policies were that of a Reagan Republican (his words - when pandering to Republicans and indirectly to the big donors that bribe both parties).

In December buy a lot of beef and make sure if there is ANYTHING at Taco Bell that you like that you eat it until you are sick of it! Make sure you are subscribed to every movie and tv streaming service and get ready to hunker down for the majority of the year of 2020. By the end of the year nearly 1/4 of a million Americans will be dead from what the president calls a "hoax". You'll also find out that aligning one's self with hate groups is supposedly not racist. It is racist but don't tell the NRA hat dudes. I know I left out the riots in virtually every major city and some other key stuff like WWIII almost kicking off but the president saved us by sucking up to the dictator of North Korea. If you game, the Playstation 4 was really good. The Xbox One is good too. They name the Xboxes funny. For the next 7 years of your life just make sure that you love the elderly or those with pre-existing illnesses as much as you can. Get your affairs in order and get used to tear gas. That's not what the masks are for but if you hate Bush just yeah. Donald Trump did everything he could to erase the legacy of Obama, including hope. We have hope again at the end of 2020. A universal health care system, wherein provider's incentives are aligned with the patient's, would be our best form of national security.

The BEST reaction I ever seen to a Presidential election was when Trump LOST and the entire planet celebrated with Church bells ringing across the globe, people flooding the streets and a party ensued that lasted for day! 😂 It was the greatest weight ever lifted off of this nation and you just knew that America had hit rock bottom at that point and was ready to come back!

@urbanverificationist No, I'm not against all forms of taxation. It's a question of where do we draw the line? We have, long ago, stepped over the line of what is fair and proper taxation.

Unfortunately, there are millions of middle class Americans who worry about socialism and the welfare state when they should be far more concerned with wealth inequality in the United States. The middle class is rapidly shrinking while the affluent accumulate more and more assets.
