Mount Bromo (and many main mountains in Java Bali) are also "used" as media for the Hindus to give offering to the Creator - that's why they have staircase up to the mountain ... and bc more tourists are coming, the local govt made the staircase more steady and safe - but basically, almost in every "important" mountains in Java and Bali, they have staircase

Gunung berapi tdk hanya di Jawa & Bali. Di Sumatera gunung berapi pun sgt banyak disepanjang pesisir barat pulau Sumatera tepatnya di wilayah Bukit Barisan dari Aceh sampai Lampung. Bahkan gunung berapi tertinggi di Indonesia adanya di Sumatera yakni gunung Kerinci yg terletak diwilayah antara Jambi & Sumatera Barat.
