It's likely nothing like the Tython we know of in the original canon, Dathomir was the same way in Fallen Order, completely different, it seems like at first they tried to erase the original legacy of Star Wars, a big part of that being the EU, and arrogantly thought they could reinvent the wheel, except they found out that wouldn't work and now they're slowly but surely trying to bastardize the original EU with their new canon, when in reality, they could have just avoided all of this fuckery if they never got rid of the EU in the first place, which ironically was the very same flimsy excuse they had for getting rid of the EU, to avoid fuckery, a new trilogy with the old characters wasn't needed and only served for cheap and shallow nostalgia before unceremonious ends for all three characters, and if they really wanted to give the CHARACTERS not the ACTORS, justice, they would have depicted what already had been shown in comic books, novels, and games post-RoTJ, with new actors, I know that the common sentiment seems to be that only one actor could ever truly fit a certain role, but if theater and characters like the Joker have taught us anything, it's that this sentiment is bullshit, truly great actors can become whatever role they set their mind to becoming, sure the original actors deserve praise for being the original people who brought the characters to life, and they will always be remembered as the original, but they are not the only ones who could, and people delude themselves by believing otherwise.

From the moment they brought in Tooka/Loth cats and the Darksabre in season 1, then Bo and Ahsoka. It was VERY likely to bring in a character with unknown fate. I expected it eventually. Filoni has his favourites.

And then there's folks like me who have been wishing Thrawn would be part of live action Star Wars since the early 90s.

You could see Eric really having to choke down and go "no, can't do it, can't let it slip". In the post-watch session they had to split it up for two people who've seen Rebels to answer things and discuss. And when the other two are back in he's trying so hard to play it cool.

Man... I didn't watch Clone Wars when it came out (don't worry, I'm all caught up" so Rebels was my first Star Wars show. When Sabine and Ahsoka find Ezra in the Ahsoka series... that's going to be like Ahsoka and Vader's reunion to me.

Finally after so long hope it's live action let's wait and see 🙈

@@basak9746 all 4 live action shows; Ashoka Mandalorian Boba fett Rangers of the new Republic Are going to collide into a big crossover. I think thrawn will be teased in all of them and will be the climactic villain at the end just like Thanos in the mcu

Thrawn is too clever to let Ahsoka find him. He will be hiding on the Mandalorian and Rangers of the New Republic shows, while she will be running around looking for him in the Ahsoka spin-off the next many seasons ... ;-)
