Keeping Liam Nesson as a secret until now is a smart move, and seeing him appear physically as a force ghost to his former padawan does put a smile to my face. He really does make me feel nostalgic, and I'm so glad to grow up with the prequels and OT trilogy. The slow burn finally paid off till the season finale's best episode. Qui Gon's voice still got that famous edge after 1999. Thank you Deborah Chow.

Theory: When Qui-Gon said “We’ve got a ways to go” I think Qui-Gon is going to give Obi-Wan the same special training that Yoda went through in Clone Wars that will allow Obi-Wan to contact others after death. This would explain him being a force ghost in Empire strikes back & return of the Jedi.

The way they sloooowly showed him too was amazing. They made it seem like he was an oasis, or an illusory effect by the light, which made me think I was actually seeing things for a second or two. Glad they got him back. I was waiting for this moment since Yoda said to Obi-Wan that he’s been communing with Qui-Gonn at the end of Episode III back in 2005.

It’s so great to see fellow Prequel fans tearing up over Qui-Gon’s force ghost. The Prequels impacted so many childhoods including mine, and this episode was definitely for us.😁

I use to think Anakins story was so tragic but after watching this series I think that Obi Wans was equally as tragic. He lost everything... his order, his master, his love, his best friend, his entire identity

This is so good, like so wholesome. I know the Star Wars fan community is one of the most toxic fandoms ever, but this is just beautiful. My heart was crushed to see how Obi and Anakin parted here, Anakin still lost in all the rage and hatred, and Obi calling him Darth for the first time. It felt fuller at Obi's farewell to Leia, and fuller at Obi meeting Luke and that "Hello there!". But it almost burst outta my chest chest when I saw Qui-Gon return. And all these people, fans and lovers of Star Wars, feeling the same joy at these moments; it is priceless. It is a good time to be a Star Wars fan. May the force be with y'all!

Disney shows a lack of respect of Star Wars in the anti sequel trilogy. But I am glad there are others like Dave Filoni, Ewan McGregor and Liam Neeson who does pay homage to the very universe George Lucas has created. My hope for season 2 is we get to see Obi-Wan’s training for immortality with master Qui Gon in Tatooine or in the Netherworld of the Force.
