The opening credits aren't lying, Deadpool 2 IS directed by the co-director of John Wick 1. So technically one of the guys who killed Daisy. Stan Lee wasn't alive to cameo in this but his mural is painted on a building in the background as Domino is parachuting to the ground. Deadpool trying to die is a common theme in the comics. Death herself is in love with him, the same Death that Thanos tries to win over by killing half the universe in the comics. If I'm not mistaken they were going to make Vanessa Death but decided against it. In the comics Deadpool forgets major parts of his life before Deadpool due to trauma and the healing factor and schizophrenia, so when Ghostrider gave him the penance stare it jogged so many of his memories GR confirmed he deserved to die. Deadpool is actually the only one to make GR turn back into Johnny Blaze after the penance stare, indicating that the Ghostrider can't punish Deadpool more than Deadpool punishes himself. All the X-Men in the cameo are the actors from the prequel series of movies, it was actually shot on set of X-Men Dark Pheonix just for Deadpool 2. As for Brad Pitt, you CAN find how much he was paid for that, he was paid exactly one cup of coffee for showing up. JUGGERNAUT TRIVIA: The Juggernaut was CGI, but the Face and Voice was Ryan. Juggernaut's also Charles Xavier's Brother, and that Helmet he wears functions like Magneto's, keeping Charles out of his head.

So, this movie was filming at the same time as X-Men: Dark Phoenix. Someone came up with the brilliant idea to make a call-back to the 'Studio can't afford another x-man' joke by putting this joke in there. The Deadpool crew shot Ryan's part of the scene in their set, then sent all the camera and blocking information to where the DaPh crew were shooting in Canada. They shot their part, and then the two scenes were composited in post.

So, the parachute landing was filmed in Vancouver...camera work done by drone; flown by my BIL's brother. The " luck" scene was also filmed in Vancouver, stunt woman died during the motorcycle riding.

A fun fact since you watched all XMen movies: The Cable portrayed here is actually in comics named Nathan Charles Christopher Summers, son of Scott Summers and Madelyn Prior(Jean's clone). As a baby, Nathan would be infected with techno organic virus by Apocalypse that turns him into a semi android with psychic control over technology. He then renames himself Cable, becomes a hero and is also a frequent time traveller and associated with storylines involving Apocalypse.

In the uncut version of Deadpool two, Wade goes back to kill baby Hitler, in the post credit scenes. You need to see that, that is hilarious.

Co-writer Rhett Reese was doing a comedy bit for star Ryan Reynolds about the "inadequacy of toilet paper to create the appropriate hygiene for a human being." When they decided they needed to work it into the movie, they felt they needed to bring on an “Oscar-caliber” actor to deliver such a fine speech. So, Reynolds reached out to Damon, and he ended up liking the script enough to jump on board.

A little painful on the sides, sure, but the brain has no nerve endings and can't register pain. Brain surgeries are commonly done with only local anesthesia; the patient is actively awake and kept talking just in case the surgeon nudges something they shouldn't.
