what most people don't notice about this scene is how savage Arya is in this scene as she doesn't remove the mask until after they all die so the whole House thinks old Walder killed them

David Bradley is a brilliant actor, I am sure he got a kick out of this Scene and changing his demeanor to Arya's for that brief moment before the face was removed to show Maisie's in his clothes.

Idk if it's just me, but did anyone else catch the hint near the beginning of Arya's speech to house frey? "I've gathered every frey that means a damn thing so I can tell you my plans now that WINTER HAS COME", meaning she's here and going to get her revenge.

The actor who plays Frey is amazing. He makes the scene! He’s great in HP too. We all buy it as Arya because of him.

I don't really like GoT all that much. But Arya's words here were brilliant. Before this scene "winter is coming" was meant as a warning that trying times lie ahead. That one must always be prepared. But this scene right here changed everything. "Winter came for House Frey." So from this moment on the motto of House Stark means "whoever you are, however powerful or wherever you hide, make no mistake, House Stark will get revenge".

I don't care how many people complain about the ending of this show, watching Arya's character Arc alone is worth seeing this series.

Arguably her (or rather the actor of old frey) best moment. This will be the scene which Arya will truly be remembered for. I LOVE the part where he/she says 'Leave one wolf alive...and the sheep are never safe' Pure brilliance!!!

I like knowing that a good number of people were thinking this was a flashback, which means the ending was a sweet, sweet surprise for them.

Kudos also to Mr. David Bradley for those scenes he played a disguised Arya and delivered those iconic lines great.

I loved the character arcs for Arya and Sansa Stark over this entire GoT series. They started as children, kind of spoiled in Sansa’s case, but both grew to be strong powerful women you don’t mess with.

Loved the revenge. However, an entire House is wiped out & I don’t think there was a later scene where other people ever discussed his epic event.

Also a reminder of what a great actor David Bradley is, his depiction of Walder Frey is as good as anyone done for any character in GOT.

Listening to the Starks saying "Winter is coming" for 6 seasons, then Arya dropping that line chilled my blood. Fucking huge circle that just got closed..

I almost want to see a continuation after this just to know what sort of mythology would persist in the mind of the people of Arya Stark.

Nikki..? Steven..? Arya by no means went "Jedi Master" on House Frey, no! She executed Order 66! (Or in other words, she went full on *Sith Lord!!* ) Darth Sidious Himself no doubt took notes! (and if he didn't, he should have!)

When I watch epic scenes like this, it makes me even more upset about how the series ended. The last episodes completely destroyed the rewatchability of this show for me.

honestly s/o to the dad that didnt directly spoil it for who i assume is his daughter. when she was asking questions he just said “thats not him” so its still fun to somewhat figure it out on your own!

The last guy's reaction is as pure a demonstration of the Dunning Kruger Effect as I have ever seen. He was like, "I called it. I figured it out!" Not. But he got a nice shot of I'm smart satisfaction for a minute there... and that is what his brain will remember.

Arya Stark may be my favourite heroine in all of fiction. She has a strong sense of morality; of right and wrong; of dignity. She can't abide injustice and woe betide anybody who crosses her. She is impetuous but calculating. I would fill my pants if I had her as an enemy. I don't generally cheer somebody's death, even in fiction - but when she 'offed' Polliver and Littlefinger, I cheered.

I just want people to stop calling her Ar-ee-a like an operatic aria. Her name is Ar-ya. Like “are ya” going to the movies with us?

How the hell did we get 7 seasons of bad assery, and yet somehow in a single season they manage to screw up everything on such an epic level that it still boggles the mind to this day? Granted season 7 you could certainly see the beginnings of its downfall, but it still wasn't bad. They only had to take it home one last season and conclude one of the biggest TV series in history. It's like the writers and creators had a meeting right after season 7 and Benioff and Weiss asked for suggestions what direction the series should go that would give the finale an epic send off, and leave everyone happy with long time book fans and short time series fans alike. And after all the suggestions were done, Benioff and Weiss said....."OK, great suggestions people. Really good stuff. So here's what we're going to do.......we are going to do the exact opposite of all that. Literally the exact opposite. We plan to piss off just about every loyal fan we got. And we will crush and utterly destroy this series to such an extent that it will taint everything good that had been done before it. Sound good? Alright, great meeting folks. "
