@@ReactZones OHMYGOD DO I GET TO BE THE ONE TO INTRODUCE YOU TO KEN PENDERS. Okay so he's this guy who used to work on the archie comics, and he was already pretty infamous (being kind of a creep, making an entire army of echidna characters, writing a knuckles jesus allegory plotline, etc). But then he got fired and sued sega/archie for the rights to a TON of stuff. Mostly his own characters, but also a bunch of stuff that he didn't make and had no real right to. But he ended up winning because of some weird stuff in the sega/archie contract I think?? In any case sega can't use a bunch of stuff from the archie comics ever again because Ken Penders has the rights to it now, including Sally and the freedom fighters
