too bad the scientists and the HECU guys weren't around when the combine invaded, they should react to the new headcrabs and combine forces and how gordon killed earths puppet administrator. also, Eli vance is the unnamed black scientist in the 1st game, and spoiler alert, he died from a throat impalement by an advisor. edit: i also forgot to mention the antlions and combine tech, (plus the antlions can be scary if encountered in the wrong spot)
