Hi I posted this in 2017, shortly after The War album came out. We had no performances of the song yet so there was no 100% accurate line distribution available. I did all of this by ear. I am aware of the mistakes, so please stop commenting about it. Hope you can look past it and still enjoy the video and their voices :)
**THAT IS JUNMYEON SINGING AT 1:57 & 2:31, NOT JONGDAE. THAT IS TOTALLY MY BAD AND I APOLOGIZE!!! (I am aware of the other mistakes as well, thank you)
Here's the full acapella track of Forever that LDN Noise showed us during their panel at KCON LA 2017.
I've included subs for who sings which part, for both main melodies and harmonies. (Yes I am aware that there are mistakes, I did my best at the time I posted this).
Thank you to LDN Noise for sharing this with us, and sharing with us their process for writing and producing such an amazing song!

I think the beauty of EXO's vocals is that aside from the fact that they're great vocally, they also sing difficult songs and when they're on the stage, they even have to dance to the song.

For me, backing vocal or anything like harmonization is very2 important to beauty the song. It doesn't make difference with main vocal.

@@maharanizh9 lol alot of so called exols and solo stans hated jd since the beginning of his career, some hated him because he had too much lines in Chinese and he isn't Chinese even tho he is the main vocal 🤡, meanwhile kexols hated on him for having alot of Korean lines even tho he is an exo m member for them that was not fair. they also hated him because they think he took the other members lines when exo became one. not to mention his semi dating scandal in 2017 alot of fansites dropped him, and him being the first Korean member to get a solo debut made some fans and solo stans angry too, so yeah he have been eating tons of shit for no reason for so long.

Trivia: mostly they change position of covering the song. like Transformer in Audio baek is the one who hits the hightnote but in live perf. Chen do the highnote parts. the diversity of their talents.

@@reinafairre9126 I also thought it was minseok but hearing it more times I noticed that the high voice (minseok) ends earlier, and the low one (sehun) continues. It doesn't sound like minseok ended the high part and then went to do that low run, that run sounds directly linked to the low voice. It's even more noticeable if you slow down the speed a little bit

AAAAAAA OMG MY BIAS. I LOVE D.O. VOCALS. I LOVE D.O. DANCE. I LOVE D.O. ACTOR. I LOVE D.O. VISUAL. Do Kyungsoo is just incredible in every sense. He is one of the few vocalists who can make your heart flutter and cause a storm of emotions. He manages his deep voice and sweet timbre with such ease that the same part can sound completely different "starting very roughly and ending unrealistically gently". Kyungsoo's unique voice gives each song a unique charm. I'm ready to listen to his voice as much as I want.! Even when Kyungsoo just speaks, he wants to listen and listen to endlessly, such a pleasant voice.

EXO truly is the full package for me. the only group that got me listening to kpop and the only one that got me to be a loyal stan. there's just something about them from the inside and out that truly made me so into them, they really stood out perfectly for me without even needing to br trending internationally, I use to hear about them all the time yet they made me a stan without even needing to be trending and while they're on hiatus. the talent and impact they made to me despite quarantine!!

I totally get why some people mistake Junmyeon with Jongdae. They sometimes sound alike! And DAAAAAAAMMMMMMNNNNNN their vocals are truly on another level!
