You don’t need everything I used to create beautiful spreads. Pen, paper and markers will do the job. I’m just lucky to work in the crafting industry. Before then I didn’t have much and still created fun spreads in my journal 🥰

If you had a color toner of inkjet printer, you could use normal matter sticker paper instead of photo paper to print a single full sticker page of a month or year or TBR list of book cover thumbnails. Then as you finish a book, just cut it out and stick it in your journal.

That’s a wonderful idea. My problem is my home printer isn’t the best and I hate the quality of my printer. But I’m gonna try again and see if my printing on sticker paper is any betters. Thank you dear ♥️

ooo I love all of the spreads! and even without stamps, I think it's pretty manageable to do. I don't give myself challenges so any book spread would be more about logging the books I read and favourites, since I tend to mood read and not set a TBR. Saving this for inspiration!

I’m excited to start a reading journal for 2022. I used to have a book I used in undergrad to keep track of all the books I was reading, with character tables and a brief synopsis. This is so much more fun. ❤️

I LOVED this video! It really helped me so much. I like the idea of setting up for the entire year all at once. I’ve been struggling trying to figure out how I want to set up my first reading journal and watching this video was the inspiration I needed. This is the first video I ever saw about reading journals, and the one that set me on a binge and decided me on creating my own! I move a lot so my reading is digital, so my journal is as well, but I copied a lot of stuff from you, and some from other people too. The nice thing is that I can add pages in the middle if I realise I forgot something xD I love how your setup turned out, can't wait to watch you fill it up!

I just saw your channel and love your book journal ideas. I might create a space of it in my travelers notebook hopefully I can keep track of my reading. I feel I usually give up halfway but I will do my best. And love your positiveness about how things are not usually perfect. Sometimes that is what prevents me from doing something.

Hi Heba, after watching your plan for the year video, I finally pulled the trigger and ordered an Archer and Olive Notebook (they had a nice sale on the one I got) and some of the Acrylograph markers. My goodness, is it the fanciest, loveliest journal I've ever owned. The marker colors are so beautiful too and I can't wait to use them in my journal for 2022. Thanks for all your inspiration. I really enjoyed this video Heba, your reading journal is very thorough! I like that all of the spreads are "optional." I'm not a volume reader at all, so the page numbers and number of book type spreads are not for me, but the review type spreads and bookshelf(ie) ideas are right up my alley, and I love the idea of Reading to Zero! I'm also a big stamper, so I like that you incorporate your stamps! I think the A to Z spread is interesting, I have a friend who is on a mission to read a book by an author from every country -- obviously that's not a one year project! Thanks for sharing your ideas, and your own inspiration for your spreads!

I LOVE this video and all of your ideas. If I was Time magazine, Heba, you would be my person of the year for 2021. Also, I think on our next Peach Zoom crafty time, we should play Heba bingo and "cohesive" would be one of the spots for sure. You are just the best...such great tips to break away from the pressure of perfectionism and still make an amazing journal. The only thing I can't wait for more than this video is your daily planner set up for 2022. :)

Man if I was NYtimes person of the year and on their cover I would totally represent our little community with style. I’ll be holding a pair of scissors in one hand and double sided tape in the other 😂 I love the bingo idea. I think I might have my peaches fill that bingo card out for me. I love how your pages look. Very nice design and love the stamp look. I always wanted such stamps, but I never found really nice ones. Everytime I see a nice stamp, they're in a package with more stamps I would never use.

Hi dear, I don’t think I’ve ever shared that online 🤦🏻‍♀️ But I do have the printer I use linked in my amazon storefront link. I use a small photo printer that prints on sticker paper called Canon Ivy. And to extend my pages I I use vellum paper to create a hing to connect both pages together. I hope that makes sense

For my audiobook spread, I'd write the book title in the player where it would eventually be covered by the photo. Then after 6 audiobooks, I'd print the covers as 2×2 squares on a 4×6 photo paper.

Ok, your video is lovely and gave me some amazing ideas! But I HAVE TO KNOW WHAT THAT RULER IS AND WHERE YOU GOT IT! at 12:33 you use what looks like a ruler that perfectly lines up with the dot grid! Every Archer and Olive journal I use, I have to do a grid page in the back where I have all the possible spacing that I use. It's a great page to have, but it's sometimes hard to use when I'm having to jump back and forth!

Thank you so much dear 🥰 I will use the boxes to track how long it takes me to finish a book. So if I start reading a book on the first, I will write the title of the book I'm reading, and when I finish the book for example on the 5th I will write down finished. I might use markers in the same color to see them better. I hope that makes sense.
