Hi Mei! I prefer this format because I like your voice, but more importantly, you give us more insight into your journaling process, such as the choices you make in the little details (such as what you do with extra space, what makes you reposition a tape or sticker, your choice of design, why you choose to switch pens, etc.). When a youtube video has a voiceover, I can also play it immediately in the background while working at home. It makes me feel like I have a friend keeping me company when I’m struggling to finish everything. It really makes working alone easier. I can glance every now and then, and most times, I play a video again (background) so that I will be able catch what I missed in the initial watch. On the other hand, videos without voiceover need my full attention because I have to read the captions. So when there’s a new one, I can’t play it right away if I’m busy. I file it under my ever-growing “Watch Later”, which I can only watch in my spare time. And then I forget them. 😅 Or they get buried. So I really hope you make more of these videos. ❤️ Thank you!

I really liked the voiceover! It’s nice to hear what you’re thinking through while you make the journal, if that makes sense. I usually watch asmr/silent videos but it’s actually nice to hear from the creator. I feel like I learned some new info too

Hi! I'm a new subscriber. I got recommended your Normal people video and I just felt in love with your reading spreads. I've never had enough time to do a reading journal even though I really love reading. You've really inspired me to try it out so maybe one day I can create something as beautiful as your art. I'm so excited to keep watching your future spreads! Sending love from Spain.

Oh I wanted to say, I borrow e-books with an app called Libby. It’s an app that connects to your local library and you can read or listen to their available audiobooks, or put them on hold and they notify you when they’re ready to borrow. The books automatically get returned after 2 weeks. It makes reading new books during the pandemic really easy! I was wondering if you have something similar in Japan and if your library has a way of borrowing e-books/audiobooks.

What a nice reading journal. I like your page of "Night train to the stars"... have you noticed how you placed the washis on the right page? It almost looks like a locomotive 🚂 . I wish I had your talent for journaling. DIY tattoos!!! YES! in Ivory Coast, we used to eat those pink bubblegum called "Malabar" and there was always a little tattoo in the package... we used to end up having many, many tattoos on our arms on good Malabar's days hahaha. Love you dear friend.

I had to look at the page again as I didn't realize that! What a happy accident ❤️ I'll send you some of those tattoos if I find them! I've been on the lookout for them last summer but no luck. Take care dear friend 💗💗💗

I enjoyed watching your process for journaling. I also liked your washi tape organization. How long did it take you to transfer all your tape rolls to the plastic? I’m considering doing the same because I have so much washi. Thanks for sharing.
