Reader pens are an aid which can support reading independence for learners who are dyslexic, have situational mutism or other learning needs, as well as EAL learners. They can support inclusion in your setting and can be used in exams as an alternative to a human reader.
The session will be useful for SENDCos, or any staff working with learners with SEND or EAL learners. Educators in primary and secondary schools who want to find out more about how to make the best use of their reader pens, or who are considering purchasing reader pens and want to find out more.
