These are subjects that are not talked about or taught. A short clip is just a lick off of a Tootsie pop, what would be nice is the whole Tootsie pop story. Even if it’s shortened to a 15-30 minute lick. I like history. Thank you for sharing enjoy your day!

Thank you for this. It's almost like they had to ignore the history of the U.S. to make that question makes sense. Almost like we are not honest about the anti-Black violence that has occurred in the U.S. But that would be crazy, right?

Absolutely! I love reading about this history. The only real shame I see is the vengeance mindset and the still prevalent racism that exists. Honestly, racism never made sense to me. Like "oh no they have more melanin than me, grrr rarrr *insert various racism*" It just doesn't help that everyday I'm told by the media I am evil. Like I didn't do nothing, why are you attacking me lol. At this point I'm just 90% sure humans can't get along in large groups.

It's not complaining. It brings to light the truth of being black in America. No matter what, rich or poor, we (as black people) will always be prodded and pushed around. Until things change.
