Reading Terrible Reviews of Discord...

In this video I read some of the worst reviews of Discord that I've seen. Terrible as in badly written or talking badly about Discord? Both. Both is good. There are some hilarious reviews in here that I didn't expect to see, although most of them are talking about the newest Discord mobile layout update. I think a lot of people hated that update, probably.

3:30 This has happened before, as soon as I click "sign up" discord loads, an when its done loading it logs me out, and sends me and email saying "Your account was terminated." or something along the lines of that.

no more auto update for you indeed quick edit: i actually tested the new layout when it was in beta and it doesn't cause a problem to me. my friends also think that it's great

⁠@@If0n702hard disagree. A big part of what made discord appealing is that the app mirrored the pc version, so you only have to get used to one ui. There’s more (the search function being complete ASS now, the darker dark mode is harder on the eyes for a lot of people and I’ve seen those with just COMMON eye problems like astigmatism complaining that they just physically CAN’T use the app because of said eye problems, if you tag a channel and click on it you have to swipe through everything you clicked on to get back into the server menu, etc.) and it’s overall inconvenient. The only thing I can see being convenient in any way is separating DMs and servers, and even then DMs don’t stay open to the last dm you were talking in which is also lowkey ass.

Just had discord log me out on every device yesterday for no reason, just bought nitro yesterday too. But recently my pc SSD just completely wiped itself. I had the 2fa codes saved and everything. But after my SSD wiped I was so busy reinstalling everything else I forgot to save the codes and I got a new phone number also in that time span. So I'm completely locked out of my account with support telling me they can't do anything but delete my account. Glad to know I paid $9 USD for crappy support. I probably won't get my 8+ year old account back.

I made an account 2 months ago, and I can confirm that it's great. There's things here and there that can be improved, but currently it is better than Discord (in my opinion). They released an update last night that improved mobile performance, too.

@@vincenzomottola7778so you shouldn't lock your front door because people can break the window? How does this make 2FA a bad security measure? 2FA can prevent people from logging in if they have your password, and even if you get token grabbed you can just reset your token...
