Texas Paul is great, he should be more visible to the whole country. I just got thru the warning with steve schmidt but he is just too braggy about how wonderful the USA is, all the wonderful freedoms here. But if you look at other western countries like in Scandinavia, people are quite free, they never had a civil war, never had slaves, not much of Capone gangsters, no Joe McCarthy era etc. I'd say they have bragging rights too about their countries.

We are led by misanthropes (republicans and evangelicals, in particular) There is a conscious trait among humans that make us what we should be and by extension do well by each other. This is a given trait among us. The truth is much starker than this. The goodness in our hearts is blackened by a society that permits sociopaths to control our world. How do they control our world without being found? We could have progressed to a higher level of thought and social/economic/political level without them but we didn't and now we wonder why? A sociopath is a chameleon even within the family and social structure. Love is a game. Trust is a manipulation. Harmony becomes that which the sociopath uses to adhere themselves to a similar population and extend their reach to true humanity. It is our innate goodness and willingness to do well and be loved that is used against us. A sociopath knows the words, but is unable to hum the tune. Human traits are complex. Our professions have been inundated with sociopaths to such a degree that we have scientists disclaiming “climate change”, doctors prescribing drugs that kill, lawyers/judges defending racism, and politicians declaring their divisive hate, fear, greed, and bigotry. Our society has been truly embedded with that which will destroy us and we stand in awe of this because no amount of common sense or logic can produce its opposite. This is the WONDER of our age and this will be that which will either save the race or extinguish it… There is nothing benevolent about republicans or evangelicals. Let’s not surrender our freedoms to republicans, the supreme clown court, and evangelicals who don’t give a shit about US. 28% of US (MAGAS) are in desperate need of serious mental health care and rudimentary civics education!

Thank you for the encouragement. I have often felt despair about what’s going on in our country. And there have been times that I just want to give up. But I know if I (or anyone else) gives into the despair, they win. We have to do all we can not to let the extreme right wing take our country away from us. And- if we do nothing else- we MUST get out and vote.

I, too get really discouraged. I'm disappointed because I can't even convince my own children that voting matters and WHO you vote for matters. I don't know how to break through to them, that right now, in this time, it's of the utmost importance. Then I see Texas Paul and others here like me. We KNOW fighting on is all we have.

But as you said, there are more of us,so we need to keep directing the little energy we have toward getting every Dem we know to Vote Blue: no excuses,no it doesn't matter, both sidesisms. I had to get a plumber here this AM for a clogged kitchen sink (which then interferes with food prep and the dishwasher draining), and I was watching you on Tony's show. Of course the big stuff out of Atlanta was #1. I had to pause my phone to show him where and what, and of course, how much. Anyway, I asked him what he thought about it ( and I know as a professional he 's probably told to stay away from religion and politics)he responded "It's just politics as usual." I hesitate a minute( this man was probably in his 50-60 yr age) and he tells me that in his years,he has never seen anything quite like this. So I say "And we all thought that Nixon was bad!" Laughing he says, "Yes, but this guy put all our lives in real danger, and our Democracy too." Yes Sir! I responded that he or I would already be in jail for 1/78th of what DJT has done! That's why we need to all Vote Blue and get all the traitors out of our Government! So, I think we need to keep connecting with as many people as we can. Some will politely engage & others won't, but we have to keep trying. We won't know how these people will vote,but all we can do is try. So what started as a bad day for me, thanks to him, my sinks working again & a nice conversation I think, and then you here Texas Paul and Taco Tuesdays, my irritated grumpy morning has turned out to be a pretty good day! However, if I weren't 73, I would learn to be an electrician or plumber! They're expensive. Or any other trade for that matter! 😂😂❤❤❤
