Oh my gosh, Jen, your channel is SO made for me! I found you a few months ago and am so glad I did. I've been interested in Richard III and the princes in the tower for years (I plan to order Langley's book). I'm also really interested in Mary Shelley and am currently reading Young Romantics. Please never stop putting out videos! Your intelligent, honest commentary on books and various subjects is so appreciated, especially the way you stay true to what you think even if it might not align with popular opinion. I look forward to all of your videos!

I watched Phillipa Langley's documentary on KZfaq on this book. Fascinating. Living room looks beautiful!

I'm of the firm belief that it was Margaret Beaufort and her people that killed the Princes, and is it definitely feels like they had the most to gain from killing them and letting Richard be blamed. The Princes in the Tower mystery is so interesting.

I loved hearing the country accent come out Jen. It makes me wonder what brought that out so strongly. I felt the same about Juniper & Thorn and ended up DNFing it. I always appreciate hearing your take on historical topics, especially Richard III and the princes. Your tree looks gorgeous!

I feel like every time I'm around family, the accent just thickens, lol! I also ended up DNFing Juniper & Thorn after finishing this vlog--it just wasn't going anywhere.

I really enjoyed watching this vlog. Your "appetizer" Thanksgiving foods looked delicious! And, it was so fun to hear your accent. Cooking must've brought it out. I'm not gonna' tell you how many times I rewound "something's beeping" 😊.

Some of the Prince is simply solved in two 'words' DNA tests. Of course, try getting a court order to dig up kings to get samples. LOL

The excerpts I've seen from Kafka's personal writing which are some of the most beautiful and heartbreaking writing compared to his nightmarish fiction makes it hard to believe they are the same person but also makes a lot of sense when you think about it. I really should get a copy of his diaries!

I've seen the documentary but did not get a hold of Philippa Langley's book yet. I love that there is so much discussion about the Wars of the Roses across KZfaq and elsewhere right now, and I too would like to see Richard III exonerated if possible, but so far am not convinced. I didn't know about the blond thing, but as a darkened blonde myself, I don't mind!

"History is written by the victors." I cannot believe that this has not been mentioned: add Josephine Tey's _The Daughter of Time_ to your TBR. It is a short (a one-day read), but impactful mystery revolving around Richard III and the princes in the tower, 'solved' from a hospital bed, with help of others. An eye-opener, and one you will like. This is more like a _Criminal Minds_ psychological look at all the players involved What are they doing?, and more importantly: WHY are they doing it? MORE IMPORTANTLY it takes a look at the *authors* of the some of the source material mentioned in your video about non-fiction Richard III books. It explores the list of books / historical material: What are they writing, and more importantly: WHY are they writing it. I find the conclusions irrefutable and I cannot believe that we are still talking about it. The _The Princes of the Tower_ sounds like a rewrite of Tey's book (which is in The Guardian 1000 list of books), but more convoluted, clouded, and carrying the 'mystery' further to the claims of Perkin Warbeck.

Ultimately, I think it will always be discussed, like the JFK shooting, or the identity of Jack the Ripper. The discussion is fun, regardless.

I’ve watched the documentary and listened to her on the “Gone Medieval” podcast but haven’t read Phillipa Langley’s book yet. What I get out of the whole thing is that there’s at least a possibility the princes weren’t murdered. I feel like I’m open to other possibilities now other than the narrative that Richard was the murderer, but I definitely have a lot of questions and I don’t feel we can really say one way or another what happened. I know the project is ongoing, so who knows what other documents and things may re-surface in the future. I can’t wait to actually read the book though! ❤

Oh wow, you never should have mentioned talking for 45 mins about the missing princes- I’m ready! I did watch the show on pbs, but have many questions. I am a member of several Tudor groups on Facebook and many of the British members don’t believe Langley at all. They say she is related to Richard somehow?

You have a way of getting me interested in topic hadn't been interested in before. I want to learn everything I can about Richard and the Princes in the tower. The novel I'm reading on my Kindle is about a mystery history. These characters are trying to find a lost bookshop in Ireland and they have come across a manuscript of a possible second novel written by Emily Bronte.
