Merry Christmas Sharon! i actually have a christmas period horror story of my own. it’s pretty embarrassing, but all period stories are. When i was 11 i was at my aunt and uncle’s for christmas eve. i had learned a lot about periods but haven’t gotten mine. i had eaten a lot of junky holiday foods my body wasn’t used to, which messed with my guts a little. i really had to fart, but when i did, i shat myself 💀 when i went to the bathroom i found blood EVERYWHERE. Clumps and all. i freaked out, and didn’t know what to do. i have no choice but to pull my pants back up and go tell my mom. i freaked out and told her i needed a panty liner. she immediately knew what was happening and her and my older cousin went upstairs to help me and got me a new pair of underwear (which was 3 sizes too big) and i sobbed in the bathroom. i got myself together and went back downstairs and every female relative was at the bottom of the steps waiting. they all knew. my grandma hugged me and congratulated me on being a women and i started crying again. definitely a crazy first period experience. my mom has a new years period horror story from when she was a teen, if this confession gets mentioned in a future video then i’ll spill the tea on that one too 👀 love your videos, merry christmas!!!

I actually have a story it literally happened before this Christmas so I woke up and realized I started bleeding so I did the regular routine when I’m on my period but then I forgot I was gonna watch a movie in a couple of hours later I wanted to go but I was worried I would bleed out my pants so I wore shorts under my pants then left to the movie theater. While I was watching the movie I felt something wet on my pants and not on my shorts I stayed in my theater until the movie was done I had realized I had bled through and I had left a stain on the seat I waited for everyone to get out so I could run out the movie and into the bathroom. I called my mom and told her to put me up and to bring me a new pair of pants. When she got here I got my pants and I had to walk out of the theater with pants in my hands and you could see some of the blood 😭 (I ended my period today I started on the 20th) ALSO MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄

FIRST, I LOVE YOUR VIDS AND I WOULD LOVE TO SHARE MY PERIOD STORY: when I was around 9-10 I got my period and I had no supplies (my teacher was female) and I got severe cramps. I told my teacher she said that i should just drink water… I vomited and leaked she never told me and me and I now get bullied :( Edit:nvm I’m not first

Just had one on Christmas Eve this year. I was on my break and needed to go to the bathroom. Was shocked to see that my tampon (started trying to use them) was leaking in the toilet despite using a super. Then a little kid opened the door (the lock in the restaurant I was eating at was wonky), and I think I may have scarred her. Had to put my underwear and pants back on after calming down my anxiety. Then I found a super + in my purse, ran back to the bathroom, and changed into that. And I was hearing the girl's mom talking to her about the feminine hygiene product trashcan in the stalls.

Merry Christmas Sharon! I have a quick question for you about periods! (Anyone in the comments can also tell me) I haven’t gotten it yet but I have a few questions! You have helped me get prepared, and I love your advice soooo much. I have a few questions. What do you recommend for cramps? I know heating pads are recommended, but what temperature, and what size? I know some cramps are worse for others, but it’s just a question I’d love to know the answer to prepare for the cramps to come. What do you recommend for supplies? (I know the basic pads and tampons and period underwear (which I have in case) but is there anything else I could use to prepare?) Also, why do I always hear that on your period that women/girls eat chocolate? I know it is a weird question but I’m just curious. What can I “expect” from my period other than cramps, and blood? I’m trying to get prepared. I know all periods are different, but what can I expect? Thanks!

Depending where you live here in the USA you can take something called Midol or Pamperin it helps with cramps and bloating body aches now if your cramps get super bad go on monophasic combination birth control pills only as a last resort if cramps are so severe that they prevent you from going to school or hanging out with your friends

I'm really lucky because I've had my period for about a year but I've never had any cramps fingers crossed. 🤞So I'm not sure about your first question. For your second question: expect messiness and discomfort. For your final question: chocolate is delicious and makes us happy, so I guess when we are feeling down on our periods chocolate helps...? Maybe there is a scientific reason behind this ... I'm not sure 😅. Good luck for when you get your period! 🤗

Hi there! I have had super severe period cramps, especially after having the Covid 19 virus for some reason, so I’ll try to give a few suggestions. I think someone else mentioned pain relief meds, I take Motrin, and it has helped somewhat. Heating pads are good, really any kind works, however recently, because heating pads can be cumbersome to carry around, I have started using a brand called Lila’s that makes heating patches specifically for periods. These things are amazing, truly I swear by them now. Have helped my cramps immensely. They are like a sticker that you just stick on wherever hurts and no one can tell that you are wearing them. Have helped me immensely in my first uni semester. Anyways, hope that helps. :)

@@lauragavashelishvili9462 A lot of women eat dark chocolate to help with period cramps! It Does not work for everyone (it Doesn’t work for me but for some of my friends it does) You Can never really be prepared, just always carry pasa with you, and never feel rushed to where a tampon! Meds made for cramps dont always work. Motrin works a little bit and if Your cramps arn’t that bad then it suplido work fine. I Get really bad cramps and only one thing has worked for me and you can’t find the outside south america. The beat thing for you is a heating psd, it almost always works. You Can use regular microwavable Obed at home and parches or self heating pads ejem out. Home this helps!!

i always eat chocolate on my period, for me i just crave it, although i’ve never noticed change in cramp pain or anything! this is just my experience though so it will be different for every girl.

merry christmas sharon! i wanted to say that your content has helped me so so much. i genuinely used to think when i was younger that i would literally just jump off a building when i got my period (i did genuinely think that), but ur period content has helped me sm and normalised and helped me with periods. from one of ur vids you also inspired me to start my own skincare routine lol so that’s also good, it’s so helpful for me and sm others people when you help to normalise periods and review products and etc and teach people how to do things like putting tampons in i honestly don’t know what i would have done without you ❤ ty!

Hiya! I'm not Sharon but I have some advice :) - Keep a stash of pads/tampons in your backpack, because mother nature can and WILL surprise you sometimes - Don't be afraid to tell your mom or friends about it. If they're truly your friends, they'll love and support you all the same - Tie a jacket around your waist to hide any stains (and keep a spare jacket with you when it's too hot to wear one normally) - Warm baths, heating pads, and painkillers help with cramps - Drink lots of water to prevent cramps, give you more energy, and regulate your flow

Ok, not my story, but I got permission from my boyfriend to tell it. My boyfriend is trans (FtM) and last Christmas we just got back from spending Christmas with our family and we were at home watching Christmas movies when his mom calls us asking If we knew he was bleeding we didn't and asked why she was wondering and she told us that where he was sitting had a blood stain and nobody else was on their period, so he checked and he had a stain on his pants and nobody noticed and he felt so bad we went out and bought them a whole new set of chairs and a table to match. When we dropped them off later that day. My boyfriend's younger cousin looked at him and said It's ok we'll get your funeral planned soon. I started laughing and told him yeah, we'll make sure it's a great funeral I know that was an inappropriate joke to make at the moment but didn't think about it until later. I apologized later that day, but he was still mad and made me sleep on the floor. He told me not to talk this Christmas when we went to his families house today.

My first period horror story was when i was in cheer practice I was 13 at the time & we were practicing for our competition and i did a split at i got my first period, i thought i broke something so i started CRYING. The coach called my mom, and i limped in my bloody leggings to the car even though i could walk normally cause i thought i could break something even more we got to the doctor's and he didn't know where the bleeding came from, so we went back home the next day i had cramps so i went to the bathroom to see if my stomach was hurting and i need to poop i sat down on the toilet then i saw blood AGAIN, that's when i realized i got my first period...

i have as story i was on an all day school field trip and we were walking in side and then i felt a little something and i asked to use the restroom they luckily said yes and I saw blood everywhere it was all over my pants and (i was wearing white pants) and didn’t have any pads because they didnt let us bring our backpacks and i had to go ask my MALE teacher if he could ask the owner of the place to see if they had any pads and thanks to one of the workers they had pads in their car and one of they boys on the trip didn’t know what a period was and keep asking me questions and my friend let me use his jacket to cover the stain, i’m still thankful till this day for that worker

so i was at school and i asked my male teacher to go to the bathroom so he said yes. i was grabbing a tampon from my backpack and he went “if you’re going to go to the bathroom to eat snacks and candy you can just share with the class” LIKE GIRL! so my savage butt went over to his desk and showed the class a tampon and then slid it on his desk and walked out. i was 12 btw. that was the most silent my class has ever been. (i came back after and my class was staring at me while i was walking to back to my desk and before i sat down i curtsied because we had uniforms so i was wearing a skirt)

Nah my worst thing with getting my period, was the ONE TIME i wore white pants, but at least i was at home 👍

When I was 12 I wanted to get my period so I tried everything. Eventually I just gave up really sad but one day I for once put on some white clothes and that’s the day. I got my period. I was so happy and now every time I have a late period all I have to do is put on some white pants and boom there it is.

Yeah… I was 9-10 when I got mine I didn’t know anything I’ll pass on some of the details, because I thought I was dying (I was at my grandmas house for the night) I FaceTimed my mom begging her to come pick me up (it was like 8 and I was about to go to sleep) she came and my grandma didn’t know anything had happened sooo my mom just came then were speaking and realised what prob happened so I went home mom gave me a pad to sleep in to see if I did definitely have it (I did) Up side I got like 3 days off school And turned out because my bestie came over like 4 days before and had gotten hers for the first time the day she came to my house so her mom told my mom and I didn’t think anything about it and then when I got mine my mom said now u and …. (Her name) have both gotten yours and I was confused and then my mom told me she got it the day she came to our house and then it made sense why my mom kept asking her if she was ok and at least u know what a 🩸is so u won’t start crying like i did bc I honestly thought I was really sick and was going to have to go to hospital 🏥 😊😊😊 hope this makes u less scared 🩵🩵🩵

Just got mine in the morning like 5 minutes before first period 😭 went during passing period expecting nothing and ofc it happened- but I always carry pads just in case so I was prepared 🥲

I have a story about my pried the last day before Christmas. I was in math class and I felt something wet in my pants but I didn’t mind it too much. Then in lunch I went to the bathroom and it was like a a merrier sin. And there was no tampons or pads in the bathroom so I had to use toilet paper then go to the nurse office there was 4 cute boys they found out and now one of the cute boys is my boyfriend and the other 3 are my male best friends. 😊😊

My period horror story is when I was in my 2nd class of the day in 4th grade, I was having cramps that morning. I went to school only 3 hours into the day I started, I bleed through my pants and I didn’t notice until I realized I was in a puddle of blood. I wiped the blood with my sleeve and the kid next to me looked at me in absolute horror (it was a boy)

Okay so this is a lucky period story. I had just gotten home from a five day trip, I unloaded all of my stuff and went to the bathroom and then I my underwear there was a little bit of blood. I ignored it until I bled through my pink pants. Luckily I was at home and I could sleep in the next day and my mom had some spare pads and since we had nothing goin on the next day I was able to go to the store with my mom and get a new box of pads. I was so great full and my friends where super supportive

I got my period in 4th grade, prepared because I was always an early bloomer. I got my period at school and our school uniforms have either navy or khaki skirt. I was luckily was wearing a navy skirt that day but our music teacher came to our school and she also always sits in my chair, I had told my female 60yo teacher and she understood and told me to go the nurse, this music teacher sat in the blood and had a white skirt on. I was so embarrassed but everyone knew what a period was fortunately and all thought it was the music teacher (45-50)

Hey girl, you prob don't know me or ever will, buttt... I started yesterday my first ever ITA I was afraid to tell them so I just put toiletpaper in my underwear. This morning my pyjamas where bl00dy and I coudunt bear it anymore so I... just texted my day cuz my mom wasn't really a tree jojr drive away but back to the point. my birthday is 3 days after Christmas 1 year i had my period on christmas and it stopped like either christmas day or the day after but 2 day later i got another period or something so i some how had it on christmas and my birthday but not the whole time in-between
