In this video Jeff, Bob and Zack try out some of the backpacking or survival food from Readywise. The food legit took us all by surprise as we all found it to be damn good. I TRIED A WHOLE BUCKET, black bucket with red lid. EVERYTHING SUCKED. NOT EVEN THE CHEESY MACARONI WAS GOOD. NO COFFEE, NO CHOCOLATE, NO PROTEIN. RIP OFF!

SOLD!!! LOL!! I have been working on a couple buckets of their meat-less meals but I add my own dehydrated venison for the beef flavored meals. I just loaded up on their meat-lover packs and glad to see your review. I picked up a bag of cookie dough to try it out and now wish I got more! Thanks a bunch guys!!!

The spicy noodle is FIRE soooo good def my go to backpacking dinner. I’ll usually catch a trout or two and cook them with lemon and onion wrapped in foil and when the trout is done I’ll add it with the spicy noodles on a plate it’s to die for the flaky trout mixed with spice is so good

Curious if Bob has ever eaten the fatty piece behing an elk eyeball. You eat it raw, scoop it out with 2 fingers, as soon as you start skinning the animal. All fresh and steaming. 🤤🌲

This stuff is good been packing for awhile now a couple years. Son loves to buy them just to eat from time to time. And we have around 20 buckets for survival food cache. To go with different augason farms cans of milk, eggs, and beans and biscuits.

Hope you won't get it there are not payed reviews done on survival and camping foods and Readywise were outstandingly bad. Try Mountain house or Peak they have much better food acording to tests done by other people.

There is much much better out there. Mountain and peak refuel gourmet compared to this cost more but well worth it.

i have about 50 poutches of readywise and i keep getting some . for sure you could just get canned food or something but readywise food packs are light weight grab and go (bang)...

On the soy sauce or "oriental" flavor ramens are vegan if you are talking about grocery store ones. You can find vegan ones at specialty asian markets.

I've not tried these, I didn't buy them because they were a little cheaper in cost, I just figured they be crap.. Looks as-if I was wrong, I'm definitely going to buy now.. I love mac and cheese with spam..

If you had the choice to eat one of these meals over Peak would you? I absolutely love Peaks meals but want to branch out. Just curious .

First of all it doesn't matter how much water you put into it because if you're going to eat it all that water can end up in your body anyway so it doesn't matter. Second of all 400 Calories is really not enough for a survival food because it's not calorically dense. If you are in a survival situation you need to be consuming at least 3000-4000 Calories a day because you're going to be expending them doing work.

Not checking all brands of ramen, but only Chili and Soy Top Ramens are vegan. Lots of meat flavors in those things.

There is no way ready wise taste like a 8.5. I just did a comparison of ready wise vs mountain house and followed directions as exactly stated and ready wise was runny, bland and barely had any eggs. Ready wise sucks. You all had to be Paid to say ready wise is good.
