2 Days? Did you use a cheap laptop for AI upscaling? This should take about one our to upscale from 720p to 8k using TOPAZ AI upscaling (with the 2080TI graphics card). Thanks for sharing.

I agree with you, even though I've only recently gotten into the kingdom hearts series, my mom used to play it when I was like 4. The first time I saw this opening I was amazed... now it just seems like the same old "simple and clean" song that we have all heard thousands of times.

I remember the first time I saw this as a kid, it was included as an ad in some treasure planet Disney computer game I had at the time. It was before KH had released and I was so mesmerized by the imagery and music I would played it on repeat over and over again...more than I even played the computer game! I had fallen in love with KH before even playing the game because the concepts were so intriguing to me.

the nostalgia of being 10 yrs old sitting in my room with the door closed blinds slightly open with sunset rays beaming in on the wall , sitting directly in front of my silver hatchback tv , legs crossed , eyes glued to the screen 😭😭 im 26 years old now about to cry 😂 times have flown & I’ve gone through so much since then. Life my kid 20”s have really gotten the best of me , but relating back to old memories as such help feel better cause I think about when times were simpler

KH 1 will always be in its own tier for me. I actually loved the bizarreness and simplicity of how the Gummi ship levels looked. It added to the atmosphere I feel like. Also i loved the complicated level designs and the use of platforming for the worlds because it made them more rememberable. Also I just absolutely love traverse town to death lol. I feel like it could actually be a world in the astral plane or something like that. I feel like I’ve been there or to a place very similar to it. If you go to traverse towns theme on KZfaq there’s many people that say it feels like home so i really wonder if it exists somewhere lol. Each game in the series has its own unique vibe and atmosphere but I just happen to prefer the more innocent, magical, heart opening vibe and atmosphere that KH 1 had

@@joshshrum2764 a masterpiece? lmao you kh fans are genuinely drawn together because of your own stupidity >extremely small maps that rely on maze like designs and making you backtrack constantly without giving you hints on objectives or a minimap/marker >no autosaves at all so you're fucked if you want to take a break whenever >enemy and boss design so gimped and broken i don't even feel like playing it on hard,most bosses are giant and immobile and the best tactic is to just spam X on them and spam healing+aero shield on yourself >the ending was the most exhausting 20 phase boss fight ever,can't even get a cathartic release >everyone goes on about the story but the characters have 0 convinving dialogue or interaction and the whole lore is retarded >useless gummi ship mini game and customization and they give you the freedom to explore areas while you can easily fuck yourself by being underleveled >combat is good for 2002 but overall extremely repetitive and easily cheeseable

2:45 this part right here is very too my childhood. The 2000s generation, I was born in 1992, I thought the world was always as is. We had history, the present as always and the future looking too. But this part here is a glimpse of what childhood is, you see Pewdiepie tear at this part if you look carefully. It hit me last year of this, repeating it just how symbolic and genuine it was. It's metaphor. But also the current state then of the 2000s, technology, pokemon, dogimon, kids shows, cartoon network, sky channel. Football. Playstation, gameboy, phones. Trends, school, all that stuff. I left school in 2009. Never thought it hit me like this, I played this game in 2002. As a kid it's full of wonder, but as an adult you see it more so.... its theme and message. A 14 year old, a teenager, full of wonder and curiosity. I love this game. If I could go back, I go too 2009 or 2008. I would put things right.

I personally believe the voice that’s talking to Sora in the beginning in the Dive into Heart is Ventus. Like he spoke of opening the door as did Sora did with him. He’s in a way training Sora so he’ll be ready to soon receive the keyblade. Also those princesses we she the hearts for, are princesses Ventus has met. Sure Riku was supposed to receive his from Terra. But I’m certain Sora got his too, from Ventus.

I don't know why, but I keep returning to this world every couple of years. Ever since discovering this as a kid in the early 2000's, I have been growing up and taking more adult responsibilities. Now at 26, I'm at this weird stage in my life where I just feel the need to desperately return to this world again. Sometimes my fascination for Kingdom Hearts is just gone, but somehow I keep coming back to it. It's so fascinating and so multilayered. Sure, you can follow the simple story, but there is so much more to it.

I don’t know exactly how old I was, I think like five years of age, and I watch this for the first time ever in my life. I was mesmerized by the music score and gorgeous visual fidelity. I was in another world free of malice and discontent, my curious mind was free to wonder without prejudice. The world was an easy place not filled with hate or the daily concerns of life, this brings me back to my childhood and I wish I could just live in this moment of life forever where I am free to be me and nothing else mattered. To be like Sora was a blessing that’s who I wanted to be, I wanted to fall from the sky and fall deep into the water like a dream, this was a dream I did not want to wake from. My imagination limitless and this new world to explore the world of Kingdom Hearts.

Wow I totally get what you mean. I mean I was 10 when this game came out. I mean I wanted to not be like sora but adventures with him. Has a good heart and mind. Knows little yet I like that. Hes very curious. I think that we Wong into 2016-2020 that was dark times, mentally. I was in my house most of the time and seeing what was going on. Crazy stuff. But what I did in 2020 is I went back too my playstation 2. And last year played kingdom hearts, very magical, mysterious. Especially the end if the world level and its theme. I was drinking my queens jubilee 2002 primary school cup. And listening too the theme in my room. Just reminded me of the times. I still love the game ever more now.

This is forever my all time favorite opening and song in all video games for me.😍🥰 Everything is perfect in this, I remember seeing it for the first time back in mid 2000s on PS2 and I was very fascinated by this beautiful opening, that no other game has, perfection!!!😍🥰

The fact I got into KH at the age of 8/9 and now I’m 23 and THIS STILL HITS HARD! AINT NOTHING CHANGED. God what I would do to go back and play this for the first time again!

I just started my 1st real experience with kingdom hearts and tho I’m not far in the story just finished the jungle planet I gotta say I never really got into ff games but this game has changed my mind I love it I love the nostalgia that I never realized I missed this is just the beginning of something great !

This opening theme song of Kingdom Hearts seems will haunt me for the rest of my life it never gets old after all these years really remembered the first time i played this game which was so confusing to understand the storyline becuz there wasn't any other game at the time of this type and it was a new concept this world and tht world stuff and so after this these type of games kept appearing who will forget chrono cross it was super confusing for my kid mind 😊😊

2024 and I still love this opening, always reminds me of the first time I placed it back I the early 2000s. I didn't play it when it came out cause I thought this was a "kids" game and I was in Jr High but wow when I finally did played it it became one of my all time favorite games

Thanks to sora being added to smash bro I finally realized that sora doesn’t wear pants/shorts in his kh1 outfit. It’s just a onesie with a jacket over it and a belt that does absolutely nothing
