It must have taken a lot of courage to share such intimate moments with your subscribers and I commend you for your vulnerability. I'm glad that you and your parents are on better terms now, I hope they can come to fully accept you. As you said, the world is changing and the day will come, hopefully soon. Love always wins! 🏳️🌈❤💛💚💙💜

Yesss this comment is gold. Avtually many people interpret the bible in a common way, but in a logic way being gay is not a sin, because youre not killing anyone

Thank you. I enjoy your videos & perspectives so much. You are a very thoughtful person in your expressions. As I listen to you tell about Korea, the society & culture of now, I am reminded of how the USA felt in the late ‘80’s & early ‘90’s. There was a lot for the US to contend with at that time, as basic rights & recognition for more kinds of people grew. We are still struggling with a good deal of it. But, the issue of homosexuality, of one being Gay, has gotten past those initial hurdles. I was around the age you are now, just before ‘00. I remember the US shifting. I grew up in the anti-Gay culture of the US. I grew up in the more liberal & free ‘70’s & early ‘80’s, only to have that all erased by a sweeping move towards social conservatism, renewed following of Conservative Christianity, & a rise of the American patriot, with said conservative values. AIDS definitely gave that movement the strength to the scare tactics the employed to grow the movement. There was a trickle down of bullying & discrimination that started in the mid ‘80’s after a solid decade or more of Gay recognition & increased rights. I came out slowly between 1986 to ‘89. The society of the US at that time, had a loud & present anti-Gay feel to it. Perhaps you have heard of Matthew Shepard? He was a young Gay man from the rural American West that was brutally murdered by two Straight men pretending to be friends with him at a bar. He went with them & when they had him alone, the taunted, beat, & killed him. They were caught. The story caught national attention. And, people shifted. The men who thought bullying didn’t amount to much, & that Gays had it coming, were suddenly shocked. I guess the murder took it too far! Suddenly, US culture changed in a short amount of time. Shepard was murdered in 1998. And, by 2004, it seemed like being Gay was no longer a thing for people to worry about anymore. Gay was accepted by most. I had all this anger from the mistreatments & bullying. I always figured what happened to Matthew Shepard would easily happen to me, or a friend of mine. Suddenly the world around me was different. Things had changed. I had to learn to accept that the people who were my enemies, suddenly were saying they were allies. It was very confusing. Sometimes it still is. But, the US and many places have changed. Change will come to every place. Thank you for telling about Korea.
