This is a simple DIY science experiment that can be performed at home.
The physics practical videos are useful for students of class 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 & 12. These physics practicals with explanations can be used for Science fair, School projects of CBSE/ICSE Lab experiments and Science Working Model. These Do It Yourself Projects not only make learning fun, but also explains the concepts of science in depth.

Still, one confusion, how do we see real images and virtual image in real life, i mean if u see an object in mirror or through the lense, then where will be image formed.

The image is virtual i.e. perceived by our eyes. Not a real image

Concave lense and convex mirror are not forming image of candle on screen because they are scattering light rays away from screen. Each ray of light works as information or form an image .

Wow really helpful! I just wish you had also considered the centers of curvature and how position of the candle relative to it affected the result, but in differentiating real and virtual images it was spot on.

Hi ma'am. Concave mirrors first converge at the focus, and then diverge and spread everywhere, isn't it? So why do we obtain even blur images on the screen if we place the object far from the mirror, and do not see even blur image through convex mirror?

mam i want to ask one thing when we look at the concave mirror and we keep a candle infront of the concave mirror and the screen as we see the real nd inverted mirror is being formed on the screen but mam will the image of the candle form on the concave mirror as it was happening on the convex mirror ? pls reply

Concave mirror in 5 cases give real image and in one case that is between p and f give virtual. When the object comes very near to the mirror it gives virtual image.
