I think the standards for angels are much higher than humans. Angels are meant to be perfect little emissaries of god, while humans are considered impure and tainted from birth.

I think it's defs possible for Charlie to get souls into heaven. Cherubs are angels, and angels are held to a much higher standard of perfection than humans, as they are an extension of Gods will, they are expected to not make mistakes, especially not ones that cause deaths. However humans are by design imperfect beings and are expected to make mistakes and sin. Humans are the lost lambs, so to speak, and if Charlie's plan works and she's able to get a sinner to repent and redeem themselves, it's not impossible to get into heaven. Then again, i might just be spewing speculative bullshit.

5:07 So Blitz, Millie, and Moxie listened to Loona last episode about the human disguises, so great continuity. But that brings up a question: could they have committed more to the disguises to blend in more, or does Loona canonically have the ability to look like an actual human?

It's theorized imps do not have the power to change into human forms due to them being the lowest class of demons. They don't usually have a reason to change into human forms due to them being used for manual labor in hell.

@@azraus2500 yeah. Hellhounds seem to be more powerful. In the helluva hazbin universe. I think it is implied or stated imps being the lowest form of demons. They are used for manual labor hence they have no reason to initially be given magical powers(if the theory that the first demons were created and not born is true). another Theory is that there was a revolt of imps against basically slavery and imp city was founded

I really enjoyed this episode, although it kinda figures that IMP would have a rival business that's the opposite of it, and it was good to see Blitz, Millie and Moxxie taking Loona's advice about having human disguises, and sure their disguises were only just wigs, makeup and etc but at least they gave it a try, and as for the Cherubs well i get the feeling we haven't seen the last of them, hell they'll probably want revenge on IMP for getting them fired, kicked out of Heaven and basically forcing them to become Fallen Angels.

Cherub, an angel often depicted as a cute little character, in actual theology is a monstrous celestial being...like all angels honestly. The cute angel look was based on the decorations put on the tombs of children. That said, the style and voices in this are very sunday school cartoon special, likely intentionally.

@@lexitaylor8131 I mean with IMP metaphorically flicking their noses at every turn of course that would be frustrating to deal with. In order to do their jobs they'd also need to stop IMP. They didn't purposely go after that guy and IMP did end up taking out alot of the audience by firing willy nilly. Chances are one or the other would end up getting that inventor somehow. It just inadvertently happened to be the Cherubs.

@@lexitaylor8131 But I think that flaw in the cherubs is a great addition. Similar in how there can be natural-born demons who are polite and optimistic, having natural-born angels give in to negative emotions like anger proves that the line between total good and total bad isn't so clear, and there's a lot more grey area than we've come to expect. Even in Heaven, perfection is virtually non-existent. And while I do think they deserve to be barred from Heaven, I don't think their actions validly warrant a *permanent ban.* At the end of the day, it was an accident on the cherub's end.

Fun continuity fact, the reason for all the different costumes Moxie, Millie, and Blitzo were wearing is because of the lecture in episode 3, and Blitzo asked about insurance this episode after he was asked about it in the pilot. I love how everything is connected(they even had Loona watching Charlie sing about Happy Hotel [from the Hazbin Hotel pilot] in the pilot)

Some dialogue seems to suggest that the aging machine was a later addition. Mainly Millie saying that it smells like he hasn't been out of the bed in months, and the lack of any mention of the machine past the backstory bit. I think that there was a different backstory in an earlier version of the script, and they both aged normally, but it was changed (probably because it wasn't as comedic as this version) and this plot hole was created as a result. That's my guess anyway

Well my theory is that as cherub are actual angelic beings (as opposed to people that died) the same way that imps are hellborn beings and not sinners, the rules are far stricter for them than mortal souls. So perhaps sinners still have a chance?

Well they did snap and give into wrath, start the fight and cause the death of an entire audience in an opera theater. Still if the policy is like this, then there must be something wrong with heaven if they aren't taking intent into account or provide a means or process to either make up for or redemption of deeds. Also I have a soft spot for Collin since he seems to do his best at being genuine.

not really tbh. their job was to stop him from killing himself so he can do something good for humanity (which he never intended to do anyway and also stated right infront of them). They could've also checked his record and noticed that he already did fucked up stuff in the past and was never worthy of heaven or its guidance to begin with. And on top of all that, they cursed, gave him falls hope just to get their job done, tried to kill demonspawn infront of a human audience without disguises, put killing them over the safety of all the humans in the room, got all the humans in the room killed in the process (aside from maybe the piano player) AND had their person of interest killed by an accident that happened due to a fit of rage. Charlie tries harder than that and doesn't use violence that quick and she's the literal spawn of hell so... they had it coming.

@@Renkencen Mmmhmm. Hazbin was picked up by A24 Productions, and SpindleHorse has gained the financial backing to work on a full series. While it's still in speculation as to where and when the show will be aired, our conservative estimates are on stream services like Netflix or Hulu by October of this year.

Cherubs are the lowest form of angel in that universe. So it mirrors how imps are the lowest for of demons. Something intresting to me is that in terms of design they are a mix of classic Cherubs and some aspects of Cherubim ( said to have mishmash of animal appearances opposed to the chubby little angel depictions of Cherubs )

I'd like to say that I'm an authority on this matter as I am...an ACTOR (and furry but that's not important) But Blitzo's animal costume is just that. The hood is ill fitting, the nose is held in place by elastic, and the collar is definitely not from the same package. Moxie and Millie however are TOTALLY wearing legit fursuits. Those suckers are form fitting and way higher quality. Also Moxie is totally dressed up as Great Value brand Husker. XD

The reason why they're in various outfits is because its just a joke on how in the last episode, Loona yelled at them for not wearing any human disguises in the human world. So, they just wore different types of styles that fits with the place where they go.

I only feel bad for the blue Cherub. He seemed genuinely good, just under the employment (or whatever the angel equivalent is) of the other 2. We see in the ad that they put him in danger and make him do all the paperwork. If any of them deserve back into heaven, it's him - in my opinion. Also, I don't remember which channel or video it was but I agree with what someone said about heaven in the Helluva/Hazbin universe. "Heaven is under the control of 'nice' people, not 'good' people."

@@CaptainCretaceous91 "good" people are genuine in being nice to you, or generally don't expect much (if anything) in return for it. "Nice" people are just *being* nice, usually for status, reputation, or to get something out of someone. In the case of the angels, I'd say they were looking to boost reputation, but we see that they are selective in who they're nice to (they are really mean to the blue angel)

@@CaptainCretaceous91 "good" aren't so selective, I'd say is another distinguishing factor. Certainly I'd say that they might not be good to assholes (because gotta protect yourself from certain people) but unless you're an asshole to them, they are nice to you
