One of the reasons I play so much down-home solo instrumental blues, is because I just want to listen to it... and there just isn't a whole lot of solo instrumental blues out there to listen to. I think there is a huge pressure to create bigger and bolder productions, but my soul always craves the simple moments of hearing someone alone with a guitar, just playing for the honest, simple pleasure of it. I decided to start a series called "Real Blues," which will be a collection of these moments. ...sort of like a conversation with a blues guitar.

Gonna have to check him out, I get so many great suggestions from obviously knowledgeable people in YT, even if they (knowledgeable comments) do occur at atrociously low rates, at least in most videos. Videos like this, not nearly so rare. I find that positive trend in serious videos on YT on a variety of subjects though, and a dearth of it on the sites like 'moon landing hoax' and 'aliens among us' I sometimes go troll for grins.

The Maton Acoustic always sounds better than any Martin, Taylor or Guild. It has the warmth, loudness, punch and brightness combined. Oh yea, the playing was kick ass.

Justin is like a scarecrow. He's Outstanding in his field. That piece was amazing! It sounded simple, but was very complex. It only sounded simple because it was preformed so smoothly and with masterful precision.

I have two sons who are both very accomplished with their guitars , I used to love just sitting there listening to their practising and gigs when they were younger . Now that they`re grown up and married with their own children , I don`t get to see them as much now and miss that guitar playing , that`s why I subscribed to you El Maestro . My youngest son , Roy has been to Nashville with his band , looking for a recording company , to put together an E.P., that was just as Covid 19 was just kicking in , they managed to get the recordings down but had to get back home ( NZ ) via L.A. and do a few more takes with the lads in L.A. Roy has been in touch and they are slowly progressing with the E. P. but it has been frustratingly slow because of the virus and no travelling , still , here`s hoping .Cheers from NZ friend .

Gotta hear a resignator of your choice with some down home slide my man....wouldn't have a full collection of "Real Blues" without one, as ya know !!! Something so pure,honest,clean, and SOULFUL when there's nothing but someone and their Ol flat-top, sittin around all quiet like surroundings, and just a pickin -N- grinnin their HEART OUT !!!! Love it, and it is EXACTLY why i ever even started watching your channel in the 1st place man.
