This is a play-through using White in the PS1 game Real Bout Special: Dominated. Read on below for more information...
White is the last boss of the game. He is an unplayable character.
===== Additional Information =====
---- He cannot crouch.
---- He cannot jump.
---- He cannot block! Which means that he has no Break Shots.
---- Being an unplayable character, he does not appear on any character select screens obviously.
---- On the VS and Practice mode character select screens (the one with the square icons), White's slot/position is actually placed in the center area right under Ryuji Yamazaki's icon. Obviously it's invisible and you can only access it by using alternate methods. This may suggest that SNK may have considered making White a playable character, but decided against it in the end.
---- If you complete the game with him, his ending clip is the 'The Future I Now SNK' logo before it heads to the generic ending movie sequence.
---- When playing as him, after he wins a match and your rank scrolls into the screen, the image of it is slightly flawed.
---- In VS mode, normally after you select two regular characters, each character has a unique 'deformed' cartoon version of them for the loading screen. If White is selected, this cartoon loading screen does not appear, and instead uses the normal loading screen.
---- After defeating the game with him and after the credits, his portrait silhouette appears on the ranking screen like a regular character. But after you enter your name, the portrait colours appears to be 'wrong'.
---- Despite being an unplayable character, he actually has a 2nd colour palette. This is another indication that SNK may have considered making White a playable character at some point.
---- If his Hypnotize/Speed Up super move is used on other backgrounds, the background just turns black for the most part. This is because he is not meant to be on any other background in the game.
===== About White =====
He is a crazy psycho who uses mind-controlling abilities to manipulate his victims into doing want he wants, and is the rival of Alfred Airhawk. Judging from the anime cut-scenes in this game, it seems that he has brainwashed Billy Kane (who is the sub-boss). White's design is clearly based on the character Alexander DeLarge from the movie A Clockwork Orange.
Gameplay-wise, White is a limited character as most of his special moves do not hit and he cannot jump nor crouch, but his moves make him quite powerful. His Baby Face special move is EXTREMELY good as it has a large hitbox and it ALWAYS dizzies the opponent if it hits them. He also has a unique super move that only activates when he loses 2 rounds where he shoots at you with his staff... if the winner gets caught, he/she loses the round instead! His major weakness is the fact that he cannot block at all.
===== About RB Special: Dominated Mind =====
This is a unique version of the arcade game Real Bout Fatal Fury Special designed only for the Playstation... I love special versions like this. As well as White himself, the game features a new story mode character select screen, anime cut-scenes and voice acting, and judging from them, Alfred seems to be the main character/protagonist in it. The game takes advantage of the PS1 hardware and uses an AST for the music.
Whilst the game has all these new features in it, the arcade character select, versus, route and winning screens have been removed, not to mention the special background breakable barriers. Gameplay-wise, the plane switching has also been removed.
But regardless of all the missing arcade elements, it's still a great game and should be considered as it's 'own game' rather than being compared to the arcade original.
